We've had our beagle from the shelter for about 10 years now. He's about 12 we think.

He's crate trained and has slept in his crate (at night) since we brought him home. Only times he doesn't like being in there at night is if there's a big storm or he's not feeling well. He'll scratch and whine and we let him out.

He's free to roam the apartment during the day or while we are not home.

Recently though he's not wanting to stay in there all night. He scratches and whines to get out almost immediately. Even with no scary storms.

We caved the 1st time or 2nd and he ended up sleeping in our bed. Not ideal at all and prefer he sleep in his crate.

We spent an exorbitant amount at the vet

Most couches and recliners do not really fit some tall people well.

I would think a "big and tall" furniture store would make sense. But I doesn't exist.

So where do tall people find reasonably priced couches and recliners? (Not looking for custom made pieces.)

Does anyone wear shin guards when they skate?

I'm looking into wearing some but am curious on types/brands people have experience with. I don't want bulky ones but want the protection.

Anything you wish you knew before buying and wearing them?

I'm healing from a derby ankle/leg injury and started PT to strengthen and heal. The orthopedic doctor just gave me the okay to go back to derby in 2-3 weeks or when I'm comfortable.

I'm curious to know if anyone has found successful ankle supports to use while skating. My brand new Riedell Vendetta's have zero ankle support at all. I'm interested to know if there are any known supports/wraps that I can wear (with skates) either as I continue to strengthen and heal or all the time (in skates). The PT guy suggested having my ankle taped if there is a trainer who can do it but there's never been a trainer at the boot camp times.

I've used something like this is in the past but never w/

Job Interviewer: I see you left the product manager field for a fraud job. Then went back to product manager. Then went to a retail sales job. Then back to a role in the product manager field. Why all the changes in different fields?

During job interviews they ask about job changes. I'm trying to figure out how to explain my job changes in a short time due to TBI. What to say? What is a better "corporate way" to say things to paint me in a better, stable picture?

I had a major TBI 8 years ago and had took 13 months off my 6 figure product manager job to heal and recover. When it was time to go back to work I could not handle the stress of a 60 hour work week and had to find an

Has anyone else sold their car to Carvana, say a month ago, and it's still sitting where they left it? In a permit required area and now the car is full of parking tickets? The car loan has been paid off so it's no longer my car.

I'm just worried when I go to renew my plates on my new car, they will see all the tickets (and probably a Boot if it continues to sit there) and force me to pay those fines. I've tried twice now with their live chat (to a real person) and basically was told "don't worry about it, it's not your car any more."
(I did remove my plates once they bought it, gave me the check before the Carvana team left.)
