There's a kid in my preschool class who is constantly home due to a chronic illness (diabetes). We have pictures books on kids with diabetes, but they don't talk about how hard it is emotionally. I've had adult family members with chronic illnesses, and they talk about how hard it is to want to do things, but to not be able to do them due to their bodies. Are there any picture books out there for kids that talk about feelings surrounding being chronically ill/disabled?
I have a pro account. I've tried recording to the cloud, and locally. I'm the host of the meetings. I've never been able to successfully record in gallery view. Even when my screen is in gallery mode for all the recordings. I can't figure this out for the life of me
I’m brand new to the e-bike world and could really use some advice. There’s a lot to learn, and I’m hoping ya'll might be able to help me narrow things down on a bike model.
I’m looking for a commercially available, ready-to-ride e-bike for commuting to a new job. Unfortunately, customizing a manual bike isn’t an option for me right now. I need something reliable pretty soon.
A couple of bikes caught my attention:
- Juiced Bikes looked great, but I think they’ve shut down
- I’ve seen older threads mentioning the Priority Current, but I’m not sure if they're as good as they used to be a couple of years ago
- Also heard good things about Ride1Up
Conditions:
- Budget: Up to $3,000 USD befo
Pretty much the title. I plan on selling pipes at craft fairs in a state where weed is legal (Maine, if that helps). The pipes can be for anything, however. Be it tobacco, weed, or herbs like lavender and rose. I'm curious as to if I have to ID buyers if I sell these items? I can infer what they're going to use it for but, again, the smoke-able thing could be for something anyone of any age could buy, such as regular herbs like chamomile. Sorry if this question has been asked before. I can't find any answer anywhere, let alone Reddit.
I know what the still face experiment is supposed to inform us regarding smart phones and such around young kids. I.e. try not to be on your phone around babies, because your face goes blank and they can't "read" you/interact with you/they feel ignored. I had questions about reading books around your young kids. Personally, my face goes blank no matter what I'm reading. Fiction, research books, etc. Is this different than a phone? Is reading a book instead of interacting with a kid (even if they're doing independent play) as bad as being on your phone around them?

Pretty much the title. My partner (at least twice) let the landlord know verbally that he would not be renewing the lease. He had the lease for 1 year. In the lease it said that my partner had to let the landlord know he wouldn't be renewing, or they would assume he was renewing. There is (to my knowledge, unless for some reason the landlord wrote it down) that my partner told the landlord that he would not be renewing the lease. Much to my chagrin, my partner didn't email the landlord, for whatever reason. He assumed multiple verbal warnings was enough. Well, cut to about a year later and my partner gets a call from the debt collectors saying he owes around $3k
I want to get a tattoo of the tin flower from Fantasy High, but I don't want to get the wrong kind. I know the official character art from season 2/sophomore year looks like a rose, but I didn't know if it was explicitly stated in any of the campaigns or not. I don't want to get a tattoo of a tin rose if it's actually a lily or something. Nor do I (necessarily in this moment) want to watch all 3 seasons over again to find the answer to this one question lol. Thanks for any help!

What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.
I'm trying to upgrade my partner's current gaming PC they've had for around 10 years. They play mostly cozy indie games with a cartoony/2D style. The main issue is the lack of storage, and the speed on the current PC.
What is your maximum budget before rebates/shipping/taxes?
$450
When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
I plan on buying the parts within the year.
What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (Tower/OS/monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc)
The new case, and anything else that needs to be upg
