Found one of these safes for sale cheap, curious how it can have a decent fire rating with the drop slot. Does anyone here know much about these safes?

Been needing a nice fire resistant safe of some kind for awhile and saw a pair of Gardall business safes come up on a local marketplace. $1000 for both a 3ft tall UL 350 1 hour and a 2ft tall UL 350 2 hour.

Thoughts on this and any advice about what to look out for or check when picking them up?

I recently found a Yamaha RX-V681 for a good price and am looking to get an IR signal receiver that works with it (a little IR receiver on the end of a cable with a 3.1mm plug).

Anyone here know of one that will work? I bought one off amazon that had good reviews and sadly it seems it doesn’t work with this AVR.

Just picked up a Technics SL-QD3 for a decent price, now looking at pre-amps. I have a local Harman Kardon PM635 available for a decent price, but looks like I can get something new that’s decent for around the same price as well. Curious what you guys think I should go for. The rest of my setup is pretty modern.

A Technics SL-QD3 popped up on FB for $100, but I think I can talk them down a bit. I’m new to turntables and want to dip my toe, but don’t have a ton to spend right now. Is this worth it? Also I think I read I’d need a pre-amp. Is there any way to tell for sure if my current receiver could work straight with this turntable?

I’ve got a Kraton 6s EXB that I put the aluminum diff case upgrades on recently. Twice now I’ve had the rear diff become a locked diff (they are open diffs normally). The first time I tore it down and thought the issue was that I forgot to locktite the screws holding the case together. Second time now and I’m wondering if there’s something else that could be causing it. I’ll tear it down again to see if there’s anything off, but I’m pretty sure I was careful the second time I rebuilt it haha.

Any common things to look for that could cause this?

Probably a long shot, but just in case: I’ve got extra team associated silicone diff fluid in 1M and 20k weight (2fl oz bottles, brand new), and looking to get some 500k and 80k in return. Comment and send a chat if interested.

I’ve got limited used options near me for a center channel, and so far looks like my best bet is a like new Infinity IL25c for $90. Looks like that’s a fair deal according to Hifishark, but wanted to ask here for thoughts.

My current setup is as follows:

- 50/50: Music/movie

- FL/FR: Monitor Audio Silver RX6

- Sub: RSL 10S MKII

Think I should go ahead with this or just sit and wait for something that pairs better with what I have? I live in a rural area, so not sure when something else will show up, but no idea if this will sound good.
