Ok so I know there are quite a bit of people on Linux who really wanted to get Clip Studio to work but couldn't, so I decided to make this quick little guide here.

I will also detail an additional guide to deal with the Huion Kamvas 16 (2021) below, complete with pen pressure and with an open source driver OpenTabletDriver which covers support for most tablets.

For Clip Studio Paint:

Make sure to get the latest Bottles Flatpak and install it:

If you update you pen/ tablet drivers and CSP is sideburns active weird, it's because there's an issue with the latest WACOM drivers working with CSP. You need to install the previous driver to fix this.

Support FAQ. Driver 6.4.10-3 is a problem. The previous driver is 6.4.8-3.

It says your account has been compromised/ locked down and you have to verify your identity by clicking a link and giving then your credit card/bank info to verify your identity.

This is a cheap scare tactic trying to get you to panic and give then your bank info. Stay calm, think about it. Ignore it, and report it.

Plugged Tablet into phone using the USB-C Data Cable I purchased from XP-Pen and started CSP.
I could see my phone apps, I could start and run the apps on the tablet.
I could start Clip Studio Paint on the tablet, access the tools and menus... but I couldn't DRAW!! 😱

I contacted XP-Pen chat support, they verified the phone was compatable, they had me download medibang paint, I could draw in that app on the tablet! I could draw on my Magma web canvas! But I couldn't draw in CSP or Sketchbook.
