MARFW

Forgot to pack all of our ski gear. Any recommendations for shops in Salzburg where we can get ski pants? Need something ideally cheap and cheerful for a couple of days.

Good luck, let us know how it went.

Considering going on the Salary sacrifice scheme at work and struggling to choose between these three cars (other suggestions welcome)

Kia EV6 GT-S Polestar 4 DM Audi Q6 Sportback

Currently do about 8,000miles p/a. Mostly short trips but once a week or so I’ve got to do a motorway journey of up to 200m one way.

Things that are important to me: 0-60 in 6 seconds, good handling, fun to drive on B roads, solid ADAS (especially things like lane keep/adaptive cruise that works in stop and go traffic etc.)

Which of these would you go for? Very little between the first two in terms of monthly net payments, the audi is circa £100 p/m more. Would love a Taycan but don’t want to spend that much o

Now that the exam week has passed, feel free to use this thread to share your experiences.

What went well, what could have gone better, what mark are you hoping for?

Decided to take the plunge but undecided in terms of available options:

Buy outright an approved used 2022 reg (DM LR) model Y for £26-£27k.

Lease a brand new model Y (DM LR) through the salary sacrifice scheme at work, around £630 p/m for 3 years - includes servicing, tyres, insurance.

Lease a brand new model 3 (DM LR), same as above, around £550 p/m.

Will only do around 6,000-7,000 miles per year.

Expensive home charger(pod point, new housing development) but live next to a supermarket offering free charging.

Looking for a few recommendations for a consolidation/reporting tool for a circa £80m revenue UK business, currently doing most of the work in Excel. Complicated structure (20+ entities with a mix of trading and holding companies).

Mixture of ERPs in play among subsidiaries although transformation plan is in place to bring them all under the same system (BC) in 2026.

Thanks
