The blog post that mentions rating decay says that the initial decay is approximately 1 divison's worth. If you are low Diamond 5 (say 1% of the way in) and your rank decays from inactivity, where in Platinum 1 would you drop to? Would it place you closer to 1% or 99%? I want to try to get Diamond this season but know I am going to be unable to play for a week so am trying to figure out whether it would be better to stop at high plat 1 this weekend (to avoid being reset to low Platinum 1 by decay) instead of actually getting all the way to Diamond. Does anyone know how it works?

I got the Hwytty plush at TI4 from a blind box, but it didn't have any codes other than the "lockless luckvessel" code. If I enter that will it also give me the courier? Anyone else who's gotten the plush, did it come with a second code?
I am brand new to this game, and I have been puzzling out how everything works. One thing I do not understand is the scoring system. I was playing Battle and any time I hit someone it would give +0, so even though I did a lot of work capping and hitting, I ended up with something like 4 at the end of the round.
Is this a bug? Is there some guide where I can learn the basic information about this game?
I just started, and I was wondering to what extent my gameplay decisions are permanent or otherwise exclusive? For example, long term I would like to fly logistics and heal in fleet combat or maybe do some incursions. Since training that takes a long time, I was thinking about joining FWeddit and having some fun in the meantime. To what extent might fleet warfare participation hurt my ability to participate in other aspects of gameplay later?
Are there any decisions/gameplay modes I should avoid until I know I want to do them (forever)?
I cannot figure out how to break Kristan Parthus's armor tank. My own health is not an issue, I am orbiting at 500m and he can't hit me. I am using:
Rifter
3x 200mm Autocannon I, Fusion
1x Rocket Launcher I, Fusion
2x Gyrostabilizer I
Is there anything I can do to do enough damage to kill him alone? I have gotten him as low as ~33% armor, though I am not sure how this happens, since he is able to heal back to full after.
EDIT AS I WAS TYPING THIS: Got him down to 23% structure (though he is back to 75% armor now), guess I'll just sit on him until he dies or I run out of ammo and pray for luck? Surely there has to be a better way?
EDIT EDIT: spent a bunch of money on 3x 200mm Light Gal
Title says it all. Am I able to chip in the extra $30 (or $90) to upgrade my founder status after I have already purchased Veteran?
TL;DR: EA sent a key that didn't work, next step in the process involved me having to give login information to the rep so he could log into my account. Relevant chatlog
Full story: I want the BF2142 veteran dog tag in BF3, I have 2142 but it is from before origin, so I contacted origin support, since my old retail key will not register on origin. After having to post a picture of my game disc, CD Key, original retail receipt (thank goodness I still had this from 5 years ago) and signature on an image upload site so i could send him the link (there was no other way for him to receive the image, apparently), I was sent a key for 2142! Huzzah!
Then the key did
Almost every time I click the start playing button, or refresh the server list in tf2, my router dies. Somehow, chats with pidgin stay up, and so does vent, but I can't visit websites and my router times out on ping requests. If I don't search for a server to join a game (for example, if I join a game a friend is in), everything works just fine. this has been happening for a while now (since before the most recent updates), but its finally bugging me enough to do more than google for how to fix it.
Has anyone had this problem before, or know what causes it/how to fix it? I have a Netgear WPN824v2 with the latest firmware.
Title says it all basically. I googled the number and it looks like it's not a unique occurrence to find this sticker in books (tucked between the pages), so I was just wondering if anyone knew what they were used for. It also looks like the backing might be RFID, but I don't know how to check that.
Second game newbcakes vs Team Wizard, the referee told newbcakes that they had 3 minutes to attack out of their base or be disqualified? What is that? Since when do referees tell players how to play? If the other team isn't willing to attack into their base, you can't be forcing them to come out. This wasn't a rule at the start of the match as far as I know (and I would disagree with it if it was).
EDIT: I feel like I should say that I am not newbcakes. I understand that the players were being rude, and if you want to kick them for that, I wouldn't disagree with it on principle. I just don't think that certain playstyles should be discouraged (I also disagree with the depots on mlg maps).
