Hey folks,
I promised I'd get my follow-up CRP test, but then I caught a cold/flu from my preschool aged daughter, so I had to wait. I finally got it done today, and my inflammation had gone from 23.3 mg/L on May 12, 2026 to 11.3 mg/L on July

Hey folks, I promised I would update, and I wanted to share a couple of tweaks. One was the result of someone who I was DMing with after my first post. They told me that they were taking 120 mg of famotidine (vs. my 20 mg), and it made me think, "Whoa, is that safe?" So I looked it up and discovered that 80 mg is a pretty well-established dose, and 160 mg has been tested safely under a doctor's supervision for some cases, and so I doubled my fam
I've been struggling with LC since November of last year, with severe fatigue and brain fog. But, long story short, for the first time since November, I feel more or less normal!
Here's my stack:
Before bed:
180 mg fexofenodine (generic Allegra)
20 mg [famotidine ](https://www.amazon.com/Curist-Famotidine-Tablets-Medicine-Heartburn/dp/B0CZF6Q2PG?crid=1S2PNCQIMYFK3&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.J1A-zwu4vUYRrgm3iBrJ2QyX3b1y4YBWZVebHKyXYTs1xQUnB8ZyFeH5IYqaoSYLijGUdFCcbpMCoFiD1-_-3hZc2qZ1cExcnjymos2n3J3cWTziiucompZnP
7 months in and I finally found a medicine combo that solved my fatigue and brain fog (long covid MCAS/Mast Cell phenotype)
goodrx.com/contrave?srsltid=AfmBOop2rCaUmWJDi...Per the "It's Always Sunny in Chiefs Kingdom" podcast, since 1991, teams that met the following 4 conditions:
- less than 330 total yards of offense (Chiefs had 286 yards),
- Allowed more than 21 points (Chiefs allowed 25),
- Allowed 3 or more turnovers (Chiefs allowed 3), and
- Had a 3rd down conversion percentage less than 18% (Chiefs - 12.5%)
Lost every single game. 0-249 since 1991. Until the Chiefs won to make it 1-249.
Enjoy the ride, friends! We're winning games that no other team ever wins. Because we're great, and they're not.
