I have an MTO and want to use this feature so that meeting rooms can be seen and booked across M365 orgs:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/enterprise/enable-cross-tenant-room-discovery-for-mto?view=o365-worldwide
I believe I have set everything up correctly (incl adding the extra Exch* attributes to the CTS sync) and the accounts (incl rooms) get created on the partner tenant as members, but no rooms show as expected when using outlook to book.
I am about 10hrs into troubleshooting, I am wondering (and hoping) this is a cloud lag is populating the r
I feel like some years ago, there was a lot of messaging from Microsoft about how clean and green their datacenters were, they we trialing underwater DCs, Microsoft would be carbon negative by 2030 you we basically saving the planet by using Azure.
However lately, I don't hear the same narrative.
- Has the need to save the planet gone away?
- Did something happen in the last couple of years to move away from this messaging? /s
I want to locate a mini-PC (PC USB-C port supports Thunderbolt, DP 1.4 alt mode) under a meeting room table and occasionally connect it to a Logitech Extend cable (USB-C male) on top of the table. The Logi cable uses Diplayport-Alt mode to then connect to in-room VC equipment.
When not connected to the Mini-PC the Logi cable will be unplugged or free to use for guests.
Therefore I want a short USB-C (male to female) extension cable or adapter + cable to run to the table top.
I am struggling to find such a thing and am a bit confused which USB/DP/Th
For general Windows networks we have clients using 802.1x off domain Servers which is ok... until the client wants to Entra join / Intune manage their devices which breaks this configuration.
We have a cloud friendly design using PKI/Radius services from Scepman. This should work ok at the expense of configuration time and monthly costs.
I want to test the security waters of instead looking at WPA3 PSK - this is a very simple configuration on the back-end, a long password can be pushed silently to the device via Intune and AFAIK WAP3 is secure.
How do I rationalise or eval
I need to migrate all unifi site devices from ControllerA to ControllerB (switches and APs)
I plan to do a "site transfer" as explained in the below vid (i.e Export / import site file)
https://youtu.be/KKU6eJN4bVU?t=660
Can I select just ONE device as a practice run, to confirm it pops up in the new controller correctly and the network is operational before repeating the processes and adopting the remaining devices the same way?
Hi, I am a non-plumber. We have had the below issue and are wondering what the next steps should be?
We are on mains water and also have grey water tanks (i.e fill up from rain on the roof) there is a Grundfos PM1 water pump which uses the tank grey water to feed the 4 x toilets. The pump has been in operation for at least 11 yrs.
Recently we noticed the toilets not filling and the Grundfos would have a red light. If you power cycled (or reset) the pump it would kick in, fill the toilets, then stop working again a short time later, again with the red light.
We removed the
Company already has Salesforce SSO with Entra for staff logins. They want a "just in time" approach to administrative roles for Entra and federated apps eg Salesforce.
I want to know if its possible:
- Have an Entra group where members automatically get Salesforce administrative privs.
- If so, can we use PIM for Groups so users PIM into the group for membership, which in turn gives them admin rights in Salesforce for a period of time.
Else, is there any other way to handle JIT Salesforce admins
Assuming no switch the Exchange SE edition, if we are using Exchange 2019 CU15 on-prem**,** is this still officially ending support Oct 2025?
I have a multinational company I wish to onboard their Windows fleet into Intune for App and Policy deployment, however I won't recommend them to use Autopilot (AP) as they are hybrid (for now)
Group tags will likely be advantageous here so I can target certain things at different countries (e.g regional settings)
Will Group tags and the assoc Entra dynamic group/s targeting those tags (devicePhysicalId) work ok in the absence of going through the AP process? I think this config will be agreeable if/when they go Entra joined.
I suppose when they build a new PC, the IT admin will manually join to on-prem AD, (login via end user via TAP?) then let GPO enrol into Intune/deploy apps + p
I have an engineering client that deals with large files and has these stored on-premises.
Currently they use Synology NAS and have some means to share files with their external clients (I haven't seen the workflow)
There is a desire from internal IT to move the data on Server class hardware + Windows file shares, however they would loose this sharing ability.
The client quotes: "the data size of these shared files / folders is very large and having to copy these else where would be time consuming and not viable"
Is there any solution that can overlay onto Windows to facilitate external sharing?
Else potentially open to other ideas. Its for 10-ish users.
Thanks
Hi, I am in APAC however my client is opening an office in Berlin, soon to be staffed with 14 people.
The clients uses HP cloud joined (AADj) Windows devices + Intune to manage. The tenant in homed in AU.
I imagine I'll use grouptags with some configuration changes so that German devices get deployed via Intune appropriately.
Can anyone recommend a retail, MSP or otherwise option we can connect with to:
- Procure HP Laptops in Germany
- Pre-register into Autopilot (with grouptag)
Thanks
We had a security report ping us on no AV (Crowdstrike) on the app connector.
IMO, I think this is ok, but is there any comments or official docs on this practice?
