Crowded (even after labor day), overpriced, and little to do. You get the same experience (island beachy feel) on the mainland in Newport or Cape Cod and there's far more to do there. Save your time and money. Don't go.

Hello everyone. My family, husband, and I are looking into doing a Caribbean Christmas cruise on HAL. I am concerned, though, it will have too many children and be too loud and chaotic for us. We're all adults and just want a quiet time to relax and spend time together. Thanks in advance!

I know Amtrak is having Siemens introduce the Aero trainsets to replace the Amfleet coaches. These sets include locomotives for with, electric and battery options. This is great for areas connected to the Northeast corridor but lack electrification (PA, CT, and VA). But what about the fully electrified route from Boston to DC? I assume the ACS-64s are remaining in service. Are they just going to be pulling Aero coaches like they do right now with the Amfleets (and no loco or cab unit on the back)? Thank you!

American here, but struggling to answer this question. The colonists were 3,000 miles away from Great Britain and were, essentially, living in territories of Great Britain, not Great Britain itself. As such, by living in a territory, they necessarily had less rights than living in the mother country. Why did they think they were entitled to the same rights as those living in Great Britain?

Looking to accessorize my suits with different color vests (ex: pairing a navy suit with a beige/cream vest/waistcoat). But, I am wondering what are your thoughts on the material for the vests? Is polyester ever okay for vests? Wool only? A blend? Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone. 32 year old male here who wants less body hair. I regularly shave my chest, stomach, and navel areas and use Nair on my legs and butt, but I have to do this every 1 to 2 weeks. I want something more permanent so I've started looking into IPLs, but I'm getting overwhelmed on which device to buy. I could really use some help in selecting one. I'm a bit nervous about the whole process as I have a generally low pain tolerance (I tried waxing once and couldn't stand it) and my skin is somewhat sensitive. As such, I'd prefer to try something around $100 or less just to see if I like it and can handle it. If I do and it works, I'll get something like the Braun pro. Thank you!

Probably going to get a lot of flack for this, but genuinely want to see the opposing arguments on this. If Government shutdowns are bad (which they are), then the public and the politicians need to feel them more (we got close to that in 2025 with food stamps). Right now, DHS is shut down, so TSA agents are working without pay. Instead, the President should order them home and the airports should be shutdown. No flying at all. Use cars, buses, trains, and ships as alternate travel. Yes, it will create a lot of havoc and push it back to the mid-20th century, but that's the point. Shutdowns are to be avoided so make them as painful as possible.

Looking for some concerto grossi that have a viola as a solo part (having violin and cello solos are okay too). I think Ralph Vaugh-Williams wrote one and Geminiani later modified his concerti grossi to include a solo viola part, but looking for others. Thanks in advance!
