Hey! I was quite bad eating a lot of my comfort foods, like I'd eat 200g (dry weight) portion of pasta with half a ball of mozzarella and 7 slices of mature cheddar most nights. I've lowed this to 70g (dry weight) around a month ago and been calorie counting on my fitness pal, but don't appear to be losing any weight...

I'm 300 pounds and 5ft 11. Ive been told my Drs I'm pre diabetic and just keep thinking how much I'm ruining my body.

Appreciate any advice

Hey, I really need help.

I want to be healthier I've been told I'm pre diabetic and the thought is so scary. But my god where do I find the motivation?

I struggle to walk any kind of distance without getting shin splints... Even the shop which is 5 doors up the road I get them. I used to walk a lot. I climbed ben nevis, Snowdon and scafelpike 3 years ago...

I struggle with food a lot. I am autistic and I believe I have AFRFID but not diagnosed with it. I struggle with MOST food. But I eat a lot of processed food due to the consistent textures.

Any advice or if anyone can advise someone I can talk to? Willing to pay for help from a professional too but don't know where to start

Thanks s

Hey!

I'd like to hear some experiences people have had owning an electric car with no driveway/ability to home charge.

I'm taking delivery of the Ford Puma Gen E mid feb. It has a 43kwh battery and an average range of about 200 miles (apparently).

Below is a photo of my situation, it's high pedestrian traffic, and on a main road. The house is also rented.

Does anybody have any suggestions / advise?

Self employment and uc.

Universal Credit

Hello, I'm looking for some advice which anywhere I read it seems to be fuzzy and or I'm not sure how to interpret it.

I was thinking of starting a flipping business of retro games and consoles. I know a great deal about the industry and very knowledgeable about fixing electronics.

If I buy a product for 30 pounds and sell it for 50 and reinvest the whole 50 into more product and keep doing this. I myself am keeping no profits. I want to do it for fun more than profits. But eventually will take profits...

How do I navigate this whilst on uc... I am also employed, so my uc is deducted anyway...

Appreciate any advice!

Hello, I'm a data analyst based in the UK. I am able to read SQL and JS for Appscripts and can write basic stuff.

My primary platforms at the moment are Qlik Sense and google sheets.

I'm looking to expand my knowledge by reading for an hour an evening. After I finish 30 minutes of sql puzzles to learn from. When I feel proficient enough I'll be starting my own projects.

Can you recommend some books that are cheap as I don't have much to spend on material.

Thanks!

Hey, I've been getting slowly and slowly larger and more unfit the older I get, from being 18 stone 5ft 11, I climbed the 3 peaks in 1 week. Which is when I was at my fittest. I'd cycle to and from work daily ~12 miles, but would barely ever get below 18 stone.

Fast forward to today, I've had bad depression for the last couple years, I'm now 22 stone. I get shin splints walking 100 feet.

Here's my current situation.

I'm putting myself on a deficit of 1900 calories a day, ensuring I eat nutritious food. I used to drink 1 monster a day, and looking for a good substitute, as I don't like hot coffee and not really a fan of cold coffee either, but feel I benefit from caffeine daily. Currently

Hey, so my father passed in October and at the beginning of this year we thought everything had been sorted. He has no will, and not many assets. Totally around 6700 pounds. However he had around 2.5k debt and then funeral costs. I knew my father as very meticulous with his finances, and he kept paperwork for everything. I paid all debts I knew off, checked bank statements for payments coming out to pay any debts ect... however, today... months later, we were contacted to say that he owes a further 6 grand on a separate debt.

The final sum of the estate that was left over has been divided. Surely I couldn't be expected to keep that money for 6 years before splitting it?

What should I do re
