Over the past 20+ years, I've put probably 1000 hours into this game.
Sometimes, I feel like I've explored every inch, know every secret. But that can't actually be true!

So a challenge for you: tell a veteran player something you don't think they've seen. Anything, from obscure dialogue, hidden quests or characters, to small things like the enchanted iron battle axe hidden in the stump in Seyda Neen.

I'll try to reply to each comment with if I knew it or not.

I know the Romans were beyond thinly stretched in the 5th century, and that their power multiplied after capturing the Roman fleet at Carthage.

However, prior to this, why did Rome have such a hard time dealing with them, especially at the battle of Carthage? My understanding is that only maybe a few thousand Vandals crossed the straights into Africa. With a city as important as Carthage, you would think there would be enough of a local garrison to defeat a relatively small group of people who had been fighting and running their way thousands of miles for probably decades at this point.

At the very least it is hard to understand how Rome didn't have enough forces along the entire western A

In s1 e18 of Enterprise, the crew goes down to a rogue planet and encounters a race of shapeshifters called Wraiths. Archer saves the shapeshifters from hunters, which reminded me of the story of the pre-evolved Vorta that saved a founder.

It got me thinking, the founders hated the "solids" for their ignorance stemming from being stuck in one shape. If the Dominion had won in the alpha quadrant and eventually discovered this planet, do you think they would have a mutual respect for the Wraiths, or would they be like any other ignorant solid for not being a Founder?

I moved recently so was out at downtown dmv renewing my license and there was no eye test. Is this just something they did during the pandemic and never undid? Not sure if it has anything to do if you already wear glasses or not

Two achievements added today for The Legend's 18th (!) bday.

One to just open the game. One to beat the 3 bosses in the game on a fresh save. The devs are giving a free game to the first 20 people to do it.

I pulled it off in three hours. I found two of the +50% spider damage items LOL, so I absolutely rampaged through Darion and the Isles using fire, regular and poison spiders. I'd never played this way before, it was fun to mix it up! But I started 7 hours after it was posted, so we will see if I qualified (I doubt it.)

I've been having fun knocking out the achievements in The Legend.

Finished celibacy and on a wager in only 13 days. No problem!

However looking at topping the leaderboard looks... Tough. On my impossible run I took like 130 days, so my score was awful. I only got 500 points (half of needed!) on my speedrun of 13 days on easy! This looks really difficult.

If I play on hard and go for a speedy minimum loss will I make it?
