MDs get a Bachelor's, go to med school, and then do a few years of on-the-job-training. The job of a medical doctor is obviously important, yes, but when the board grants them a license to practice it's because they've demonstrated the minimum proficiency required.

A PhD, on the other hand, has has completed a Bachelor's Degree, a Master's Degree, and then spent years doing research to discover something new that no one else has done or known before. When the advisors grant a PhD to a new actual PhD Doctor of Philosophy, it's because the candidate has increased the breadth and/or depth of human knowledge.

Rumor has it, LE is totally safe for round 1, as is Stress Liaison. Round 2, we'll have to see.

For the love of christ I cannot fit the bracelet of my brand new Speedy to it. This is the newest ref with the clasp extension, but I'll be goddamned if x links is too big, and x-1 links + extension is too small.

In the year of our lord twenty fucking eighteen I bought a used Chris Ward that had a fantastic micro adjust clasp and it was an order of magnitude cheaper than tHE watCh ThaT wEnt TO The fucking mOoN.

I like the look of bracelets, and I will never utter the words "str*p m*nster" so it's real disappointing that I can't get the bracelet of a fancyass OMEGA watch to fit.

I have vague memories of a 90s newspaper comic, black and white, that maybe or probably wasn't TFS, but even if it isn't, this place ain't a bad spot to ask.

The comic:

There's an Adirondack chair or two in a sunroom. Mountains visible in the background (maybe?). There's a broken window, and a brick with a note tied around it. The note says, "Get that Adirondack Chair the hell out of the Poconos!"

I know it's a long shot, but if it's familiar to anyone here, I'd love to learn the source!

The SPEEA emails I get mention picket lines at the union halls. Are you all picketing at the gates as well? Specifically looking to show my support (bring food) to some familiar faces at the north gates from N6/N7/daycare lots.

When is the crowd the biggest? If I showed up at 1 pm at N7 gate E89 (I think), what’s the head count these days? What about 10am?
