I think it's silly that you have to go through a FFL even if it's a gift. My friend's son turns 12 soon and he loves shooting my Mossberg .22 Plinkster. My friend has an FID and can legally own guns. Why can't I just hand it to him so that he can take his son to the range with him?

My wife will be joining be for the first time in a GSSF match but her G17 has a custom aluminum backplate. The rules say nothing about backplates so I'm assuming it's allowed but I will be bringing the OEM backplate just in case.

I'm sure you guys see these type of posts all the time but I'm so lost right now. I checked all of my security cameras and the package was never delivered at the time the tracking states it was. I visited the post office and they checked the GPS coordinates and said the package was marked "delivered" just down the street from my house. That's it. She never offered me any help other than to file a claim online. I filed and it's been 2 months and all I've gotten was the generic "every effort is being made to find your item" message. Just how long does it take for these people to admit they screwed up and compensate me or something?

So far I've only met one person who carries a secondary in an ankle holster. I imagine it's not ideal if carrying just one but I wish to have my J frame as backup in certain places. Any holster recommendations for a 638 or perhaps an LCP?

I'm looking to transfer 2 tickets for Sunday's game at Yankee Stadium but many of the FB pages I've encountered seem shady. I'm just looking to transfer them on the Fans First Marketplace for face value.

I upgraded to an ARC 900 from a F800 Pro and the date and time is way off. I tried everything that customer service asked me to do. I reformatted the SD card, updated the camera's firmware, used several different SD cards, etc. The only thing I noticed that is off and may be causing the problem is the GPS is always "connecting" nut never actually connects.

I live in Newark. Two year ago, it took them a whopping 188 days to process my purchase permit! It's now been 42 days since I last applied for a permit. I called them and they were absolutely not interested in telling me how long it would take to process.

The conversation went as follows...

[Disgruntled NPD employee]"This is officer (I'm a miserable bitch) of Newark Firearms and License Dept. How may I help you?"

[Me]"Hello, I would like to inquire about the status of my handgun purchase permit".

[Disgruntled NPD employee]"It's processing"

[Me] "I'm sorry. I haven't yet gave you my name"

[Disgruntled NPD employee] "It's processing"

[Me] "Would it help if I gave you the
