My second fav Akina album. Had eyed getting it for awhile and took plunge finally.
And as for the Toshiki album.. really only heard it in last month. Holy crap. What a fun album and had to grab it. The ballads don't distract too much and are atually good in their own right. "Lucky Lady Feel So Good" is my recent overplayed jam.
I was in a store, of a large supermarket chain in the northeast US. Just going to the seafood section, and lo and behold I hear a familiar voice over the loud speakers. Miki Matsubara "Stay with Me" is playing. There were no other foreign language songs which played (that I heard) while there. Typical mix of 80s and 90s hit songs mostly. Glad to hear Citypop is getting it's due in a shopping forum here in the States.
I have a u turn orbit plus with a built in preamp. That and my cd player are connected to an audio switcher (through rca cables), which then goes out to a Sonos Play 5. I have and play a decent amount of mono records, some modern reissues, some released in the 60s. I would like to get the best sound out of my mono vinyl records.
I know I could buy another turntable and put in a mono cartridge but that is of course pricy. I am utterly confused about mono y cables and what other equipment I need to make it work. Or is there another option?
Any help would be appreciated!
is this a rights fight? A choice by him? Something else? It's just odd that his 80 stuff hasn't been re-released at all. I think the last reissued were CDs in the 1990s that's it. Thank God his stuff is at least available via YT
I have not run in about 10 days due to a fever and cough which, while appearing to be near its end, has stuck around longer than I wanted. This means I didnt do an 18 mile run like I planned this past weekend. Or any running.
I have a 19-20 mile run planned this coming weekend (presuming I'm well enough). And then I was going to start the taper till marathon. However since I lost a long run I am beginning to wonder if I rearrange and add some miles in future weeks.
So what says you all? Stick with the plan and don't try to catch up on miles I missed? Or try to add some more miles to my training in some way?
