How to lunge?

How do people melee midair and completely change the direction of their momentum? Every time I do this I always fail.

Also when I and enemy melee at the same time, my melee connects and I can even hear the Impact sound, but I get killed? How does this happen?

Does low ping or high ping help this? My ping is always 70-150.

So we have grunts, specters, Stalkers, and reapers, on a scale of increasing threat levels.

As a pilot, stalkers are really bullet spongy but only give 1 point when killed. If you try to stay around to kill them as a pilot, you have a really high risk of being shot by another pilot (cuz you've stopped moving for too long). So they are not really designed for pilot combat.

But as a titan, if the stalkers don't explode, they really don't pose ANY threat. You just casually walk on them to get some points. They're no different from grunts or specters.

So basically this unit serves no purpose prior to the explosion buff. At least now you'll pay some attention to them when they start to drop

Just had a game on Glitch. So many situations where I could have killed with normal TTK with one shot but now need two shots. And we all know charging up a second shot of Cold War = the enemy has enough time to jump off a flat surface, or turn around and kill me with Car.

If high TTK means Car needs 5 or 6 shots to kill instead of 4-5, but Cold War now needs 2 shots to kill instead of 1, then it's pretty unfair to Cold War.

Just my two cents. My Cold War is gen18 so I obviously have a bias towards my favorite weapon.

Retribution gives a chance to electrocute enemies when they melee your shield, and this electrocution, unlike regular electric proc, opens enemies up for finishers.

As much as I love and respect Respawn for the free DLC model, I feel if the DLCs are paid they'd be able to give us more content more frequently.

And after reading the datamined info, the Frontier Defense DLC seems to require a lot of work for balancing, tweaking, designing, etc.

I want a proper FD mode like in TF1, playable on many different maps. I would gladly pay for it if it's like TF1. I just hope they don't push it out with only one or two playable maps and call it a day.

I also wish they can release FD mode at least over the summer. If released in the fall, I doubt it will get much play time in the crowded holiday market.
