I don’t really know if this question violates the Reddit rules or not but I’ll try. Anyone go to medical school later in life closer to 35? Did you feel too old to do it? What were your troubles? Thinking that I want to do it in the next few years 30 y/o male with two bachelors one in psych and I just recently received my BSN.

Anybody use these for gaming? I have been interested in picking these up and trying them out. I had a buddy that gave me the suggestion due to me having tinnitus and not being able to pinpoint footsteps very well when playing games such as COD. I have noticed the directional audio seems to be better when I used closed back headsets as opposed to open backs.

Good afternoon all. I want to see if there are any CRNAs or Anesthesiologist in this group for some perspective. I am a recent new graduate with my BSN and start working in a CTICU this coming week.

My goal when I was in nursing school was to ultimately go to CRNA school however some experiences had me steering my ship toward medical school. I know both are extremely hard to get into however I wanted to ask are there any CRNAs here that wished they had gone to medical school? Are there any Anesthesiologist here that wished they had gone the CRNA route?

I’m currently a 30 y/o male and this is my second career. I was on fire a few months ago about going back to med school but now I’m wonde

Good afternoon all I have a question in regards to a situation I am in. I currently just graduated from Nursing school and will start working in a CTICU soon. I am extremely interested in joining the Navy however my eye sight is crap. So crap that I am not a candidate for LASIK or PRK. I am a candidate for lease replacement surgery (Cataracts surgery). Anyone seen waivers for this? Any advice? Am I cooked?

Just to preface I do not have cataracts.

My wife and I are wanting to get a nespresso machine. However, we constantly go back and forth on whether the pods are worth the money. We aren’t massive coffee drinkers but we will have stints of drinking coffee daily. Sell me on the nespresso. Does the machine actually do better than a regular keireg or is it a gimmick? From my understanding espresso is mainly about the strength of bean and the pressure of which the coffee is brewed? Asking for some guidance on this as well.

Question, had anyone utilizing a frost mage minion build noticed that if you dodge/roll before the minion command hits the ground it doesn’t explode or do the animation for the explosion? Is this actually going off and just bugged? Just wondering.

Dual Residency

DISCUSSION

Was wondering if anyone had done a duel residency program where you come out of residency being able to board certify in two specialties. I have seen that John Hopkins has a dual residency program in emergency medicine and anesthesiology. Anyone done something similar? What was your experience?

How hard is it to truly match with anesthesia out of med school? And looking at attending med school in a few years after I get some pre requisites out of the way. Is it extremely hard? Is Anesthesiology the golden gem that not a lot of people care about?
