It is impossible to go out without almost be knocked down by some idiot on an e-bike. Are people so lazy that they have stopped walking entirely? Humans are supposed to walk, that's why we have fricking legs

Has anyone else been experiencing near constant delays with Grab Food?- even when paying for priority it is rarely on time-often being 30 mins late. Is there a way to delete your account? It just a lot less fuss to eat out or cook at home. Grab is awful and they treat their drivers badly.
I'm sure I'm not the only person who moved overseas who finds themselves having a similar mindset. I love going to the UK to see my family, but actually find the country quite depressing. Been feeling this way for quite sometime now. Anyone else?
Contract coming to an end in Thailand and I am looking into moving to China. From a paperwork perspective I have all the original copies of my certificates and a fresh ACRO from the UK. I understand that one needs to get all of this notarized for China. I have heard that the Chinese Embassy does not like other countries notarization documents on the degrees. Is this true and do I need to order a set of fresh degree certificates and transcripts?
When I think of my favorite season in Thailand, rain season is in last place. For me, I actually like warmer and drier seasons. I can't think of many positives about rainy season. Firstly, obviously the human toll it takes, flooding, landslides and more dangerous roads- never a good thing.
Then there is the minor stuff compared to that. I am extroverted, there is nothing that annoys me more than being forced to stay home because of the weather. I like being active outside- running, hiking etc. Then it just puts a dampener of having a social life- less impulsive decisions and more thought on if it is going to pour with sodding rain and make getting around annoying. It's also filthy, so
Well, I was finally able to enroll and have started module 2. I would be interested to hear what people think of it? Like it or not so much? I am finding it to be a lot of information to take on and some of the "tests" are quite hard to follow, perhaps due to the translation or different cultural contexts.
I've been teaching kindergarten for 16 years now and am feeling pretty fatigued—not by the students, but by the constant, minor admin-related annoyances that keep stacking up.
16 years of:
- Meetings that could have been emails
- Passive-aggressive to downright rude emails
- "Team Building" exercises—I'm fully capable of socializing and working with people. Please just let me teach and plan. I'll choose my own friends, thank you.
- A broken system, especially when it comes to SEL provisions—it often feels like schools can talk the talk but can’t walk the walk.
I'm considering taking 4-6 months off to travel and focus on what I want to do. I definitely plan to return to the classroom after
Now this might seem odd, given that it is loud and busy most of the time, but other than that, I actually find it to be intensely introverted, and dare I say it, even a little dull. Perhaps some of it is due to long working hours and understandably people want to go home and just chill, be with family. But come the weekend, I dislike being shut away in my condo. I want more than just the nightlife, that isn't really all that if you compare it to somewhere more wild and anything goes like Berlin. Plus, going on the lash every weekend doesn't appeal like it did in my early 20s. Where do fellow extroverts meet, that don't just want to party?
With news that the Nottingham PGCEi is no longer accepted, one choice I have is the 7 modules, my school helpfully provided the information to download the app. And this is where the problems start, I have entered all the information, but the Krusapa link is saying I don't have permission. Is there perhaps a bug in the syterm? I am cautious to pay for all 7 modules when they keep changing the rules so often
Morning,
In the process of getting my teacher's license- I have a Masters in Education and a PGCEi. I was curious to how the process went for others. I've submitted the documents. How long did it take for folks? What plans do krusapa actually have? All seems very vague
