it's like I have fake memories and nostalgia about that time, people, and place I know literally nothing about! 80's Japan! Fun memories of fake nostalgia! It's like past I've never had! DAE feel like that??

I'm just curious. It's obscenely expensive. There are ways to have 8TB of fairly fast storage for a lot less than that. So it has to be about the speed, so, realistically, who are these people who need that amount of fast storage.. on a laptop? 4K video editing is the only thing that comes to mind, but I can't really see an external SSD being too much of a bottleneck for that, so I'm genuinely curious. Surely, somebody here has the 8TB version? Thanks in advance.

Obviously, lots of variables are at play, but say I have two fridges that are identical apart from the fact that one is upright and the second one is a chest fridge. And obviously you can't just lay the upright fridge on its back because of the compressor, so it's one that's designed for it. When I open an upright fridge, some of the heavier cold air will fall down and will be displaced with warmer air, therefore, the more I open an upright fridge, the more it has to work to keep itself cold. But with a chest fridge, nothing is displaced, because the cold air lies on the floor already. Am I making any sense?

I'm not sure I made myself clear enough. Basically, sofas normally open and close in a single direction. Now, imagine a sofa in the middle of the room that faces TV and can be transformed to face opposite direction if needed, like dinner table or fireplace, anything that's behind your normal TV viewing position. Is that a thing? Can it be made a thing? Thanks in advance.

We all know that porn is addictive, and scrolling the feed is addictive, and that porn has been a huge part of Reddit community, unfortunately. What I noticed is that, on web version, NSFW thumbnails become unhidden again every once in a while, even though I explicitly check the box for them to be hidden. I've been doing this every two weeks for a couple of years or so. I believe Reddit resets it on purpose to keep people coming back. As far as I'm concerned, I'm not the only one who's been experiencing this. Might be a stretch, but we all know that Reddit is evil like that.
