I’m mid-late 20s, living with my girlfriend of about 1.5 years. We have pets together (originally hers) and share a daily life that, on paper, looks stable. She’s loyal, affectionate, and emotionally available. I don’t question her love for me. But I’m feeling increasingly boxed in, resentful, and unsure about our long-term fit.
We live in a condo owned by my parents, so our rent is pretty affordable. I pay $1000 of the $1650, plus I cover more of our dates, gifts, and some pet expenses. She works four days a week (two nanny shifts, two restaurant shifts) but won’t add even a half-day to get insurance and benefits. She has no health insurance, barely saves, and still wants to start trying f

Hey EMTs/Medics/Whatever medical professional you are.
I’ll be starting shifts in about a month and I’m wondering what you’d suggest to be best prepared? I passed the NREMT and skills test first time and they felt pretty comfortable, but work is a lot different from a computer test and putting an I-Gel in a rubber head. I am not worried that I’ll freeze or anything like that, but I am concerned I’ll get to scenes and just not know what to do? Which comes with the job to a certain extent, but I’d like to get ready as best I can. Any suggestions?

Recently got into boxing. Been using a pair of Everlast Powerlock 2 (16 oz). Pretty cheap, I assume not very good gloves. Looking for any recommendation on a good pair, I’d like the chamber inside to be tighter, I feel I have too much space. Also hoping for more wrist support. Thanks!
