hey, me and a few of my friends are shooting a short film (9 min runtime) and our DoP bailed on us. I was wondering if anyone that frequents this sub has a camera or is into cinematography. Just a passion project so, can’t guarantee i’d pay a whole bunch but we can work something out. Super low budget.

Does anybody know if they’re a duplex situation or a townhome? Or where to find any info on them? This is in regards to the place in front of steve’s, kava, and roosters.

I know theres better places to post about this stuff but given that i’m into bjj, and that’s my primary reason as to why I want to stop, I figured i’d give this a shot. I’ve never been much of a cig guy until about a month ago I started hanging out more with my friend who chain smokes. I have maybe five or six in a week. I think it’s just the instant satisfaction thing as i’ve been a bit down recently. I dont smoke on days I do jiu jitsu as to not have the smell on me out of consideration for my team mates. What have your experiences with cigarettes been? I dont really want to switch to vapes as I seem to hit the vape constantly if I have one. Any tips? Stories? Cries of outrage?

If you’re a regular or were planning to stop by, the place (formerly Kava Kulture) is closed until further notice. Reasons unknown, probably legal stuff as they just split from the original company. They did open a new one in Addison though.

I remember getting an old Brazilian man’s sweat in my mouth for the first time and I was wondering what other rancid shit this sport has introduced you all to.
