Mographer

I can not figure out a way to do this, specifically with a matrix object. With a regular cloner, I can kinda do it by using the mograph selection in a vertex map on the cloner, but the clones have to be in instance mode. I have too many clones for that, and it makes the viewport too heavy to work with.

I just want to apply different materials to different clones. Been wrestling with this for hours now and can't find a solution.

any help appreciated!

TLDR: Elderly couple next door. Wife passed away in December. In the past week the elderly man seems to be missing and a seemingly mentally unstable son is staying at the house now doing weird stuff. Not sure what to do.

For years since we’ve moved in, we’ve had an older couple as our neighbors. The nicest human beings. Have lived in the house for 50 years.

Sadly back in December the woman passed away. Her husband has carried on, although didn’t seem as active as he used to be understandably.

This past week we noticed that we couldn’t remember seeing him lately. The cars are in the driveway, but he’s just been absent from his usual daily actions.

A few days ago we also noticed some we

The Pasadena website isn’t much help. Mostly sends you in circles. I’ve taken stuff to a site in Glendale in the past but it’s been a long time. The site I found for the Glendale site says it only services Glendale and La Canada residents.

Anyone been through this recently and know where I can take stuff?

I have a spline that I'm using a bend deformer on, and I simply want to have some objects stick to the spline as it bends. The align to spline tag does not see the spline in the deformed state, only it it's original state. Is there a way around this I'm missing? I've tried a connect object, but that doesn't work. I've tried using pose morph to blend a spline between it's straight postion and it's bent position, but it doesn't interpolate through the bend arc. Anyone have ideas or a solution?

Thanks!

Saw it while out for a walk. Was down in the aqueduct. Had a harness on so was clearly someone’s pet. Some other people had already reported it and animal control and the FD was already on scene to recover it. So sad, condolences if it was someone’s pet. It feels like foulplay was involved because I’m not sure how else the dog would have gotten there other than being dropped from above, as it is all fenced off. 😢

Did anyone else happen to see it or know any other information?

I kinda get why it's happening, but not sure if there is something I'm missing, or if there's a way around this? I noticed that if I add cuts in the topology close to the edge of where the texture needs to be, it pulls it closer, so it seems it's something to do with the distribution of topology when tesselated? Anyone know?

note: It does the same thing if I use Subdivision Surface intead of RS tesselation.

Thanks!

Tesselation turned off. Texture is properly placed according the UV map I made

My house is not far from the Eaton fire burn zone. Did not have major smoke damage, but it definitely smelled afterwords for a few days. Have been running CR boxes non-stop since. Have thoroughly cleaned and wiped down almost all surfaces, and washed most textiles within reason. My house does not smell like smoke anymore. PM is not an issue. VOC maybe is? I got a Qingping monitor and have been observing the VOC readings since I got it, which is about a week now. I've also set up two DIY carbon filters using a AC infinity 8" carbon filter and inline fan. These are my observations, just hoping to get some guidance on options from here.

  • The VOC index levels seem to stay around 50-70, which a

Does anyone know of any resources, articles, etc that have showcased really great Office interior design projects for executives of companies? Is there a famous designer that all big time CEO's have their offices designed by? I'm a 3d designer and have been tasked in making an office for an ad campaign to appeal to executive types. General image searching just gives back pretty generic, boring and sterile design. Figure there's gotta be some hot trends when it comes to this kind of thing?

Thanks for any help!

Just got a Qinging gen 2 AQ monitor. Hooked it up and the eTVOC was reading about 55 VOC index. Stayed there for a couple hours and then has slowly started creeping down to where it is now at 22. The whole time the monitor has been on my desk right next to me. I've read here and there about the difficulties in absolute measurements of VOC levels, and that eTVOC is essentially worthless. If it's worthless, why do these companies put it into their monitors? Is there anything I can take away from what this monitor is telling me about the VOC levels? I've tried reading a little bit here and there about what it all means, but I can't make much sense of it all. Would appreciate any help! Thanks!

Thinking about building this:

https://www.etsy.com/listing/1687840516/model-b-charcoal-edition?click_key=6d2f1efad78787f40fcbfb0995e2e78fe2c93f69%3A1687840516&click_sum=f43d4b14&ref=items-pagination-7&crt=1

But I saw a video of a guy showing that his inline fan after the filter was covered in carbon dust. I'm not sure if was the AC Infinity brand, or if that even matters. Does activated charcoal in a filter like this release carbon dust?

Thank you!

I've hard mostly about Servpro, and I've seem some pretty astronomical quotes in the range $15k-30k for a full cleaning. They seem to be a really large company and I feel a little hesitant to trust that they aren't taking advantage of the situation we are in.

Any other companies people have had experiences with?

Thank you!
