Hi everyone,

I'm really anxious and wanted to know if anyone has been in a similar situation.

I completed all my pre-joining formalities and received my onboarding pass from Cognizant. The onboarding session was the final step before joining.

Unfortunately, I faced an unexpected network issue and couldn't join the session on time. By the time I managed to connect, the onboarding had already finished. The onboarding team asked me to contact my recruiter.

When I called my recruiter, she was upset and said they might have to revoke my offer. I apologized, and then she said she would speak with the team and get back to me.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Were you given another onb

Hi everyone,

I recently received an offer for the PE-CX Multichannel Help Desk role at Cognizant. My long-term goal is to build a career in core IT, preferably in cybersecurity, cloud, or development.

I wanted to know from current or former Cognizant employees:

Is internal project shifting possible from PE-CX to technical roles?

After how much time can we apply for internal opportunities?

How difficult is it to move into domains like testing, cloud, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or development?

Does starting in PE-CX limit future career growth in IT?

I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences or advice. Thanks!

Hey everyone,

I have a bit of a confusing situation regarding Infosys and wanted to see if anyone here has faced something similar.

I originally applied in December but didn’t receive an interview call at that time. Then I applied again the next month, and this time I cleared the stages and made it to the interview.

Now I’m waiting for the result, but I’m worried about one thing — the cooling period.

Since I applied twice within a short gap:

  • Will the cooling period affect my chances of getting an offer letter?
  • If I clear the interview, will Infosys still release the offer, or can it get rejected due to the earlier application?

If anyone has gone through this or has clarity on Infos

Not a rant, genuine question.

I'm exploring whether people actually find value in connecting with strangers who've already lived through what you're currently facing — new city, breakup, job loss, career pivot, etc. Not a therapist, not a friend who gives advice. Just someone who's been exactly there.

I'm also curious about the flip side — have you ever been the person someone leaned on because you'd been through something they hadn't yet?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been thinking a lot about how disconnected people feel these days.
Even with so many apps, people still feel unheard, unseen, and alone.

So I’m building something called Heleno.

It’s not a dating app.
It’s not therapy.
It’s not a gig platform.

It’s a time-exchange platform for real human connection.

Here’s how it works:

  • People share their life experiences as “chapters” (breakups, career confusion, loneliness, etc.)
  • Others who relate can connect with them
  • Instead of money, they exchange time — just genuine conversations
  • Focus is on in-person emotional connection, not texting endlessly

The goal is simple:
No one should feel like they ha
