Hi all, does anyone know of a dupe for the Lancome L'absolu Rouge Cream number 350? They renamed it from "Rose Incarnation" to "Destination Honfleur" a year or two ago and then promptly and quietly discontinued it completely.
I'm looking for a dupe for my grandmother. She's worn that shade and only that shade since she was about 20, she told me, and she's heartbroken that it's gone forever. She's in her 80s now and I'd love to be able to find something to replace it for her.
Any help much appreciated!
Hi all - I am currently looking after my 83 years old grandmother post TKR. She was discharged today after the surgeon was happy with her. Managed to get her into my car, into the house very slowly with the walker and sat down on a chair as she felt very sick and has been dozing trying to catch up on sleep.
She was doing exercises in her chair but she hasn't been able to get up now and I am concerned. We've been trying to get her up and put of the chair but she simply can't. The operated knee can move and she is managing to do the bending and straightening in the chair, but when we try to get her up we just can't. She also has arthritis in both her hands and her 'good' knee so her strength
Book that both me and my boyfriend remember roughly but can't remember the name of it.
Roughly - young boy from a troubled background runs away from home, meets a bird watcher who convinces him to come to the moors with him to see a rare bird/bird of prey (not sure what bird) so goes with him. Police catch up to them before they get to the moors and apprehend the man and tell the boy that they did find that the man was right that the bird was up there but it's likely it was a cover up to abduct him etc. possibly also that this man is a serial offender.
Was a short book, cautionary tale type thing. We both would have read this in the late nineties/early 2000s in the UK.
Remember reading this book when I was young, early to mid 2000s maybe? I think it was a book made of multiple short soppy first love/crush stories?
The one that sticks out is a girl, I think she's called Manu maybe, gets a job as a waitress at a restaurant and is irritated by a prank pulling young chef called Will. At some point she is asked to get a bag of frozen chicken lips from the walk in freezer, and then realises she is being pranked. Finds the guy super irritating and annoying until she realises that he has a crush on her and then she develops a crush on him too.
Very soppy early teen romance book. Keep thinking it's Jacqueline Wilson Girls in Love but it isn't. But it was in pri
Hello all, I'm struggling to find swimsuits that I like with the right support, are long enough for my body and fit well around tummy/thighs and are athletic rather than beach/holiday style.
I have found a swimsuit that fits, is comfortable, is athletic etc but has absolutely no bust support. This is the only swimsuit I've found that I like but I still can't swim in it because my chest isn't supported and it's super uncomfortable.
Would there be any down sides to wearing a bikini top underneath it to provide the support? Would it create extra chafing? I'd rather not just wear a two piece because the pants always roll down and I spend more time adjusting than I do swimming. I just want to
God I just want to cry every day at the moment. I can't afford to get a reduction, I've been a an HH cup or higher since I was 14 and yet no doctor will consider the possibility of gigantomastia, the NHS won't touch me because there's absolutely no funding for 'elective' surgeries in my county and I can't reach a BMI of 25 or below.
And nobody seems to understand just how much pain I'm in.
My ribs hurt all the time at the moment (yes I am definitely in the right bra size, I used to be a bra fitter and I check my size regularly) from where the underwire is resting on them. My neck, shoulders and back ache all the time. I struggle to do any kind of regular exercise because I'm so fucking u

When I hit puberty at about 11 I went from flat chested to a D cup almost overnight. And they just didn't stop growing. I was a HH cup by the time is 14. And there were no options for me at that time. Certainly no cheap options. I remember when a Bravissimo store opened and my mum took me to get measured properly because I'd been using Marks and Spencers for years and they just kept putting me in bigger and bigger back bands whilst my back was hurting more and more.
I cried when the fitter told me I was a 34HH. My mum spent £110 on three bras for me that trip and I cried again because I knew that was a huge expense for her.
