I found out about Samus through Smash Bros. Brawl when I was a kid. I thought she was so cool I looked out for any game I could get my hands on that she was in. I would get Metroid Prime Trilogy and Other M, but although I liked to explore and play them, I could never beat them.

Fast forward to when the Wii U comes out, I'm an early adopter. As soon as they announced the comeback of the Virtual Console, I was ready. All these games they were teasing us with were coming out for a limited time at $0.30! Super Metroid was the game I needed to get! I didn't usually play SNES games since they seemed so old, but it was just 0.30 so I gave it a try.
