Yarrick in a Chimera

Questions about Rules

The new FAQ text is as follows:

Q: Do a unit's abilities continue to function while they are embarked within a TRANSPORT?

A: Yes, within the restrictions specified by the ability itself. Embarked units are Not On The Battlefield (01.02.04), so any ability requiring a visibility or measurement to another unit will fail.

Yarrick’s hero’s of hades hive does require him to be on the battlefield to pick an option, specially decisive command. Decisive command lets the first order Yarrick issues be within 12 and effect all units within 6 if the ordered unit.

The chimera allows officer models to order when they are inside the transport. Thus, Yarrick in the Chimera should be able to use decisiv

I understand many of the hits on the dataslate, but why did they put Cadians up to 65. Perhaps I missed some sort of new meta development, but I was under the impression they were the worst of the basic troop options? They are on par with or worse then the infantry squad, and imo are worse then Catachan due to Scout or death corp. This hit seems totally random and uncalled for.

Considering that there are many characters that we would want to build up, what are the minimum requirements to beat the elite campaigns? I was hoping to beat indomitus to efficiently farm Anuphet, but still struggling with g1 celestine, s3 bellator, s3 thaddeus, s1 others.

Preferably, I would like to keep Varro and Certus at S1, as I can focus on units that are better in LRE and don’t have the “ultra marine tax.”

Similarly, I I’m curious what the requirements are for completing the other campaigns.

You may have experienced a match against a a team that contained Ragnar and Aun’Shi where you thought your units were safe due to being outside of the marked danger zone, but were then blown out by a double Ragnar activation and the subsequent death of 2+ members of your team instead.

This is because Aun’Shi gives a +1 movement buff on the 2nd turn to adjacent units, which is not included in the danger zone calculation. Ragnar also gives the units unstoppable, which can further improve the units movement, but I don’t think this is usually what crates the gotcha.

Thus, in a match against Aun’Shi, you cannot trust the danger zone indicator and need to move back an extra space to be safe. I w

I’m a new player trying to play the pvp arena mode, but I am confused how damage works.

I’m playing on common, and with units that have iron 1, and level 8 abilities and incoming weapons and boosts. Yet I seem to be getting destroyed. It always seems like my units never deal enough damage but alway get one shot in return.

Do you have any advice on how to not get completely bodied on area? I have unlocked indromidus, indromidus mirror, fall of Cadia and some of the other f2p characters.

My friend group has started to come back to the game using a collection of models people have collected over the years. We are our tao list against other army lists we own, and was wondering if you have any advice on what kind of rules we should take to optimize it. We generally play 500 points games.

We have access to:

1 commander in crisis battle suit with two drones

12 Kroot carnivores

10 fire warrior strike team

3 stealth battlesuits

1 devilfish with two drones

Watching Quill18’s Canada stream highlights the need for a “indigenous” interest group, especially for colonial company states like the Hudson Bay Company and East India Company. Though formally discriminated against, colonial administrators had to take into account and negotiate with indigenous people. In Canada’s case, indigenous people would unfortunately eventually become marginalized, but for at least the first 50 years of the game, they were one of if not the most important interest group in western Canada.

I really hope that a eventual “colonialism” dlc takes a look at this, because the current game does not represent non agrarian economies well at all. Any traditional indigenous in
