We deploy on prem Office 2019 (not Office 365). I deploy using the Office 365 node in the console.
However I can't figure out how to create an ADR with patches. Which products so I need enabled in the SUP?
I have not been able to find any guides specific to O2019, only O365.
How are you doing it?
I understand this may be a novice level question. I bought a few handles online and the wedges they sent are awful. They're warped, uneven and low quality. I have some nice koa wood blanks I'd like to use. I'm not a wood worker and I'm not really sure how to make them. It's there a recumbent angle of measurement I should follow to make my own?
We're in a semi disconnected environment and I need to import an .SST file monthly with current root certificates and import the file into a Group Policy Object for distribution.
I've been doing it manually for a few months but thought it'd be a fun little thing to automate as I get started with PoSh.
Here's what I have so far and it seems to work until the last step when I need to import the .SST into the GPO.
#Establish variables
$TodaysDate = Get-Date -Format yyyyMMdd
$FileNameFormat = "roots" + $TodaysDate + ".sst"
#Download certificates using certutil on UpdateServer.fqdn.com
e:\certutil.exe -generateSSTFromWU roots.sst
#Rename SST with
I have some console access and control over the Distribution Point server in my region. The primary site server and management point is controlled by the corporate office. The primary CM admin is out on medical leave through the end of the month.
I'm having trouble downloading the Windows 10 1909 Enablement Package to my deployment package. I get this error when downloading:
Error: Failed to download content id xxxxxxx. Error: The process is not in background processing mode.
The update is showing downloaded in the console, \Software Library\Overview\Windows 10 Servicing\All Windows 10 Updates but I don't know where the files to copy over or reference with a UNC path.

Is there a Baofeng mobile or Base station? I have a UV-5r that works pretty good. Now I want something for my car that I can mount. What's a cheap entry model I should look at?
I have a 2015 Forester, baseline model. It did not come with roof rails of any kind and I'm interested in getting some kind of mounting hardware up there.
Are they really this expensive? Thule and Yakima systems are in the $300-$400 range! It seems so expensive for two pieces of aluminum.
Are there any other options I can explore on a budget?
I have device with a power setting that I need to change. It's a member of many device collections. Is there a report or something I can run to find out which device collection has the power settings applied?
In MDT I can use 'IsLaptop' and 'IsDesktop' which great but those variables don't exist in SCCM.
I've been struggling with the syntax getting my WQL search in the task sequence for querying laptops and desktops.
Anyone else able to get that to work?
We're still trying to get our IPU TS working reliably. On some machines it executes just fine, but on others I'm seeing this in the logs. The errors are in bold
All our PCs are either Windows 7 Pro or Enterprise and we're IPU into Windows 10 1903 Enterprise.
80004005 seems like a generic error and I I can't really seem to track down what error code 3247440141 indicates is the problem. Can anyone point me in the right direction? TIA

I have a VDI environment where users will switch between stations with a single and multiple monitors. Is it possible for Windows/Horizon/3rd party to remember window/application location?
Users will start with two monitors, applications open on both. They'll move to a station with a single monitor and the applications will consolidate to single screen. When they move back to the two monitor location how can I get the windows to move back to their original location?
TIA
Our enterprise has a mix of Windows 7, 8.1 and 10. Windows 7 is mixed x86 and x64. Win 7 and Win8 x64 has mixed 32bit and 64bit 7-zip. 7zip is mixed several versions with no consistency.
We want to bring everyone up to v18.05 because of a vulnerability in 18.03 and previous versions explained here: https://cve.mitre.org/cgi-bin/cvename.cgi?name=CVE-2018-10115
Installations were being done manually and during deployment with MDT.
Goals:
-
If device does not have 7-zip installed it will not get 7zip installed now
-
Be sure <v18.05 is uninstalled and v18.05 is installed.
-
If x64 OS has 32bit application it should be replaced with 64bit application

I'm currently using WSUS. Using GPO to point my clients to the WSUS server.
Corporate office has SCCM and gives us access to start using it in our environment. Do I need to refine/change the current WSUS GPO for clients to start receiving ADR updates? Are there other considerations I need to make to move from my WSUS server to SCCM?
I am able to push ADR updates to two test PC's in a test OU without the WSUS GPOs. But I can't get the ADR updates to show up on a PC already in production that is already pointing to my WSUS server.
TIA
I'm interested in building a fence and I want to use old utility poles for the corner posts. They're ideal for their size and being treated with all those chemicals.
Does Helco or HawaiianTel sell or make available discarded utility poles? Is there another source?
