Could use some help with set up from the pros here. I have a TV mounted in my living room and would love to limit the cables for aesthetic reasons (and when I swivel it, they knock stuff over on the cabinet below).

Inputs: Nintendo Switch - HDMI Movie streaming box - HDMI Google Chromecast - HDMI

Other Equipment:

  • Denon S570VT AVR - numerous HDMI in and out plus one ARC and optical
  • 5.1: 5 passive Polk speakers plus a subwoofer (SVS SB 1000 Pro)
  • WIIM Ultra (which I use Spotify on) - often used for multi room audio.. sending TV sound through house to other wiim speakers

I'd love to run all of the inputs to the Receiver and output to the TV, WIIM, and Sub. Is this possible? I current

Has anyone had any experience with Pasgo faucets for their shower or sinks?

A local plumbing supply company recommends them. Lifetime warranty and they haven't had anyone "in the last 3 years complain about a leak."

Hi all, I am all in on the Wiim universe - Wiim Amp Pro with a pair of bookshelf speakers and amp, 2 Audio Pro speakers to move around the house.

I'm converting my half bath into a full bath and it occured to me that since I will need to frame our a wall and modify the electrical, I could put some built in speakers that would be on each side of this new wall (one facing into the bathroom and one facing out into the owner's bedroom. This bathroom even shared a wall with the other bathroom in the house so I could even add a third speaker there.

Now for my question...

Do I get something like the Herdio system (has a built in amp and aux in) and connect a Wiim Mini to it? This would require

Bought a Meta Quest 2. Loved it at first—worked great, no complaints. Fast forward to today: I turn it on, and it demands an update. Fine, whatever, done this routine a million times. I update it. Cue the blank screen of doom. Great. Just great.

I dive into troubleshooting like a champ—side-load the update, factory reset, the whole freaking circus. No dice. So, I swallow my pride and contact customer service. They kindly have me do... wait for it... the exact same troubleshooting all over again. Because obviously I must have been holding the buttons wrong the first time, right? Spoiler alert: It doesn’t work.

And then comes the pièce de résistance. The rep cheerfully informs me that my hea

Hi all, Has anyone gotten a consistent result for wireless Android Auto? I've gotten 2 adapters (Motorola MA1, and a non name brand) but after a few months the car quits reading them. It's incredibly odd and frustrating. I could go corded but man, once you go wireless, it's tough to go back.

I've gone as far as resetting my phones Bluetooth and wifi profiles. The phone seems to reconnect to the adapter but the adapter and the car seem to quit connecting even though it's clearly getting power.

Any tricks for restting the USB input software? Is that even a thing?

Updates to the Kia software?

Has anyone figured out a good formula for handicapping a 2 man Texas Scramble (pick the best drive and then play your own ball in).

Usga doesn't have anything and it feels like doing the typical 90% handicap for both people isn't fair to the lower handicappers who are more likely to get off the tee successfully.

Hello,

Just bought a house and installed a smart lock. The only problem is that the deadbolt doesn't always line up because the handle mechanism is not secure. https://imgur.com/a/nU7SffE

I should be able to run 2 screws through there but the holes behind are too big. Aside from finding bigger screws, is there something I could fill the holes with, drill pilot holes, and then use standard wood tapping screws?

Am I crazy? This seems like a weird situation. No idea how the door got to this point.

Has anyone here lived in Devil's Pocket?

Question? :snoo_thoughtful:

Partner and I are interested in a property near the Vicinity Energy plant. Does anyone here have experience with this? Loud noises? Bad smells? Anything else we should be weary of (or excited about) in this area?

Edit: I did just read about the Steam Leak and loud noise back in January.

The company I work for, makes materials that can be utilized in a composite (fiber reinforced plastics) enclosure that effectively shield from EMI. Prime application would be a battery box. We have data (astm d 4935) with frequency on the x-axis and shielding effectiveness on the y-axis. What I want to know is this.. what region on this graph is important to the electrical engineers designing the parts of the vehicle? And why? What systems are interfered with? How much signal needs to be attenuated for the system to continue to work?

In the past, these types of parts would be metallic and would inherently shield from unwanted signals in both directions. Moving to composite structures create
