Lower USPS Shipping Rates are Coming July 31

Starting July 31, most Ground Advantage shipments between 1-5 pounds will cost nearly 20% less than they do today. We also have an important Flat Rate update and a few reminders before the new USPS pricing takes effect.

Most Orders Will See Lower Shipping Costs

For the vast majority of orders on Whatnot, shipping costs will decrease or stay the same as today’s rates. Ground Advantage rates for 1-5 lb shipments are dropping to $7.75, which is nearly 20% lower than today. As a result, Ground Advantage will become your default shipping option. Priority Mail will still be available, but it will cost significantly

USPS has announced changes to both rates and rules taking effect July 12. Here's what's changing:



📦 Ground Advantage rates for under 1 pound are increasing

USPS is unifying ounce-based rates for Ground Advantage at the Commercial Pricing rate, making all shipments to non-continental destinations that weigh less than 15.99 oz cost the same as a 15.99 oz shipment. For example, a 2 oz Ground Advantage package will now cost the same as a 15.99 oz package.

These new Commercial Pricing rates will affect shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and military addresses—USPS has not announced rate changes for any other locations.

So did some flat rate bulk boxes and one winner going to US Guam (assuming mayb service person) ... Any how the label is different and I notice that it's the flatrate setting 4lb 8oz but this all packed up is about 9lb 1oz.

Is there easy way to fix? do I need to make it regular priority?

Hi new to selling comics this week. I've been going through my boxes couple nights this week to get feel for things. Usually takes about 2-3 hours to go full box with some giveaways.

Count down time anywhere 15-30's but should I do faster 5-10sec... Sometimes I pre discuss before.

Should I put price sticker suggestions?

Group in $1, $5, $10 starts... Since new I know taken a hit on some titles and most have sold in $3 range but some I've started at $25 even a $150 key that has sold.

Most hit $3. Crazy bidding war on a title wouldn't even expected lol.

All in all been fun as a seller and easier than taking to post thousands of comics in eBay.

Had an item that thought usps lost.
Situation ground advantage took way to long assured buyer it's insured. But logically he still filed dispute which is ok they refunded him. Tracking kept saying it got to his local post office then nothing lol.. Then I filed a usps insurance claim... Next day I check the the tracking # again and low and behold it says..... Unable to deliver to address returned to sender... Well then so I wouldn't get slapped with being charge to reimburse ebay... I disputed the claim and they agreed with me.... but i was like am I really going to get this back lol... Then week later get notice from usps denied calim....then next week poof package retuned. Immediately

Anyone else notice exploding costs today? Fixes I'm doing costing 5x 10x of cost to build

tested simply fix of SEO and social cards broke a bunch of things. luckily had backed up code from got hub I routinely make local copies. had to do hard pushes.

their revert process is flakey one thing at time.

their plan mode executes! even when you specifically say in chat window don't execute until I approve in chat. it still goes oopsie yeh I executed something in the stars led me to believe you approved it.

then I gave it full prompt that I worked out with love and chatgpt(my usual back forth work flow). and asked in planning to review and state the full plan... chatgpt said it only had 60% what was already fully baked. 3-4more prompts still about only 85% of plan ready. so skip

Lately it goes through phase one then stops to ask to continue to phase two constantly have to ask what is still needing completion and to finish all remaing phases. I'm mean that's the point I want to kick off full plan and leave computer turn off and let it run to check back later or say next day
