I picked up a Bruins Koho authentic recently, which covers the 2000-01 through 2003-04 seasons. And there were some prominent random names that they had on those teams, plus one more wild card option.

On the Bruins, options include:

  • Sergei Gonchar (15 games, 2003-04 season)

  • Michael Nylander (15 games, 2003-04 season)

  • Felix Potvin (28 games, 2003-04 season)

  • Bryan Berard (58 games, 2003-04 season)

  • Jeff Hackett (18 games, 2002-03 season)

  • Bill Guerin (142 games, 2000-01 and 2001-02 seasons)

  • Paul Coffey (18 games, 2000-01 season)

  • Sammy Pahlsson (17 games, 2000-01 season)

  • Benoit Hogue (17 games, 2001-02 season)

  • Jeff Norton (3 games, 2001-02 season)

And then there a

So if you’re traveling that way, it could have a significant effect.

This is similar to Impact, Compacta, or Haettenschweiler, but there are some noticeable differences. The width of the A, the middle stroke on the M and W coming to a point instead of being flat, and the lack of tail on the G all jump off the page a bit.

Although this was from a major university's football team, I believe it unlikely that there was a completely proprietary font used for these.

I’m going to be hanging pegboard in my garage, which has drywall over the studs. Everything is fairly standard - no unusual dimensions or anything.

I was digging through YouTube to see if I could find a good video for how best to install, with various conflicting ideas. But in one of them, a commenter said that he actually used foam insulboard instead of furring strips for his own installation.

The reasons were:

* Prevents spiders or other insects from setting up in the air gaps

* Adds rigidity to the pegboard itself

* Holds the hooks and hangers more securely (since it would press into the insulboard instead of floating freely in the air gap)

* Adds insulation

And I figure that

In 2002, UT re-designed the football uniforms by adding a large orange stripe to the side of the pants, and adding the same to the white jerseys. This particular moment marked the beginning of the decline of the football program as a whole, from which it has never fully recovered.

The high water mark began partway through the 1994 season, and lasted through the end of the 2001 season. During that time, UT went 78-14 (47-9 in SEC games), played in bowl games all eight years (with a 5-3 record), won the SEC twice, and won the national championship in 1998.

Did the uniforms make a difference

Gather 'round for a random tale of days working at a two-sheet ice rink.

So we had a building schedule, which was the rink’s operating schedule for the week. It was so important that I was told “if the president of the United States walks in here and demands ice time, it doesn’t mean shit unless it’s on the building schedule”. It was about 20 pages on white paper attached to a clipboard that sat on our expansive front counter, and writing on it was absolutely forbidden.

It contained all important information: time that an ice session (of any type) began and when it ended, and pertinent information. So for our normal lunchtime public skate, it would say (under Rink 1) “11:30 start 12:45
