I am posting this more as a rant, I hate the fact that Pakistani parents are so obsessed with marrying their daughters to only Syed guys even though casteism has no place in Islam. My parents have given me all the freedom in the world, except for marrying a non syed because of the fear of the society. Most syed guys in our immediate circle are egoist, spoiled, uneducated types 😭 I cannot imagine spending my life with someone like that when I am already independent.

Anyways, posting this hoping I’d be able to get connected with someone decent and likeminded (with low hopes).
