There's another org who has a media sanitization process for SSDs that's, effectively, "make sure the disk was encrypted with Bitlocker twice".
That sounds ineffective, but I don't know enough to be confident. What's the strongest argument for that process? Does Windows, during the initial configuration of an encrypted disk, actually ensure that the SSD (or TPM?) erased the key?
I can't find a single US retailer that lists the whole groupset online; even https://www.sram.com/en/sram/road/series/rival-etap-axs/rival-etap-axs?filters=&sort=Relevancy&page=1 only has parts.
Does SRAM not want people to buy it? Or just get it part by part?
I picked the wrong time to get back into cycling. Or maybe the right time...
Each year, it gets to 120F/49C here, with lows of 90F/32C. What are some tips for dealing with the heat?
My current plans are extra bottles of ice + sugary salty drinks and trying to ride around dawn or at elevation, when possible. Are there other tips? Do sleeves/leggings help? Does the chamois turn into wet sandpaper? Will wildlife follow me, catching the dried salt as it flakes off of my skin?
OS: Debian; Chitubox version: V1.9.5
When I start Chitubox, the terminal shows that it starts two servers: an MQTT server and an HTTP server. Both have randomized ports, open to any requesting host. Running netstat shows two more UDP ports open, also open to any requesting host.
Logs from another user showing the open MQTT and HTTP servers: https://forum.chitubox.com/?thread-2434.htm . Connecting to the local http server shows a webpage displaying an empty directory listing.
Logs from my system, showing the four open ports:
$ sudo netstat -peanut | grep CHITU
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:39365 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN
I'm considering putting a Saturn 3 on an industrial-ish shelf in a shared space. Space constraints are a real thing. Doing a door mod or buying a Hotbox are potential solutions, but it might be nice if I could avoid that.
How much vertical height do people need to lift the lid off?
I stopped playing and painting 40K minis a little over 10 years ago. What's changed since then?
For context, Citadel had just realized their super-high pigment paints and launched their wash line. NMM and volumetric were a thing, but slapchop wasn't. Printing models was just a dream of the people who really had their ear to the maker world.
So what's new? Are there fads that have come and gone? Is the explosion in paints and paint types an actual improvement?

I have an AM5 motherboard with two sticks of DDR5 in it. I went to reboot it, and it failed to come back up -- when I opened the side, the DRAM LED is lit on boot. Any tips on troubleshooting the cause?
What I've tried:
- Pulling the discrete GPU and NIC.
- Reseating the RAM.
- Trying each stick, alone, in each of the four slots (for eight attempted boots.)
- Inspecting the RAM sticks and slots for crap.
The only thing I've got left is reseating the CPU. After that, I don't know how to troubleshoot without buying replacement RAM, a motherboard, or a CPU. Maybe pulling the NVME, because why not?

Is there an equivalent to Automatic's Generate Forever, but for ComfyUI?
I know about the queuing feature, but that queues the same prompt N times. I'd like something equivalent to Automatic's, where I can tweak the prompt and see the results in the next image that crops up.
