I want to be able to capture and process an analog video signal (composite, PAL), however my knowledge of analog is very well limited.

I am planning on using a 25MSPS ADC (Texas Instruments ads801 or similar) attached to a Cyclone V FPGA so no real issue regarding how much data I can take, but I have little clue of how to connect the analog signal to the ADC beyond "mind the voltage range"

Any common caveats or design rules or reference material I should read?

My sound card just died on me, it was an Asus Xonar DG which worked fine as a replacement for my burnt integrated one. This former card had some issues, generally related to the awful drivers it provides. In essence:

• Front panel worked... Sometimes.
• Control app fails to load most times, disabling front panel.
• Awful Linux support.

I'd like to buy a replacement which has as few issues as possible and, if possible, decent Linux support. I am no audiophile so I need no premium, but I have an amp connected via S/PDIF (coax or laser, no difference) so a card providing such feature is a must.

I have a bunch of ATF16V8 programmable logic arrays and I've been using WinCUPL to make address decoders, in essence a n-input/m-output combinatory logic circuit but I'd like to know if with this same ICs I could make more complex devices like a registered buffer similar to the 74LS173.

Additionally, which other dev tools exist for these programmable logic devices?

I am designing a circuit where I want to use two register buffers with tri-state outputs (CD74AC646), the outputs of which are connected to the same bus.

The output enable pins are always at opposite states. I was wondering if I could run into a problem (outputs at opposite states shorting) since the switching happens at exactly the same time (port write from a microcontroller in two different pins, cannot modify the MCU behaviour).

I need to make some glue logic between two ICs and while manually simplifying the circuit works, I'd like to know if there are tools to help me perform this task faster next time.

I own a samsung TV (smart tv with 3D glasses, led backlight) and I have noticed thebfollowing when using it as a PC monitor:

• the input lag is severe even with game mode.
• it performs some motion prediction resulting in visible artifacts with some patterns. Picture
• colours at the vertical edges are blurred out to adjacent 3-4 horizontal pixels. Pictures (should be one-pixel wide, mspaint lines, only horizontal lines seem to be presented mostly correct)

All tests were performed with game mode active and any filtering options set to minimum or deactivated.

They were found under a chestnut tree, close (2m away) to an oak tree forest, fall foliage is mainly composed of oak leaves.
