**With the influx of new users, we want to stay ahead.. so we are once again asking for members of the community to step up to join the moderation team! If you are interested in this please send ModMail a message -- be sure to include any important information like moderation history. We aren't asking for a super-mod. We aren't asking this to be your new full time job -- in fact we want to stray away from those types of moderators as issues tend to arrise from them.**

We also felt that this was an important time to remind everyone that we are not connected to TenCent, Team Jade, or TiMi Studios in *ANY* way. This subreddit was intially abandoned by the former, and was picked up by

As you are all very well aware, it can get quite toxic around here and we are experiencing an influx of users due to the upcoming game release.

We are once again requesting for some users to become moderators so we can keep this subreddit open and well regulated — or we risk the possibility of being shut down due not following Reddit policy.

If you’re interested in stepping up shoot modmail a DM.

Thanks!

Navy to Coast Guard

Noob Question

Corpsman here (HST equivalent?), just doing my due diligence and weighing my options.. I was active for 6 and have been in the reserves for about 2 now.

  • I am an E4 (Corpsman is notoriously difficult to pick up in), is there any loss of rank with making the shift?

  • I’ll likely pick up E-5 before my contract ends.. but let’s say I don’t. I see HYT isn’t being used right now… but how likely is it that HYT comes back and screws me up? I imagine 8 years as an E-4 would HYT me out.

  • I’m basically done with medicine. I don’t really want to go be an HST if I don’t have to be. I’d be leaning more towards ME. Even as prior service, is there a grueling wait time that I’ll be a non-rate?

Hey everyone!

I’m not exactly in the eye profession, but I am a Corpsman (Navy Medic) working at a very small clinic and have to run several physicals.. one of which includes an eye exam.

I am trying to find the correct way to test an individual using the stereobooks (stereo fly/butterfly).. below is what we have tested:

  • Without the glasses, and just the shades, they can't see anything on the page move.

  • With the glasses under the shades, they can’t see anything on the page move.

  • With the shades on, and loosely wearing the glasses on top of them, they can see down to 40-50 seconds of Arc.

Is it safe to say this individual can see 40-50 seconds of Arc? Is this a correct method of

Hey everyone,

I know its been discussed already but there still seems to be some confusion. This non-stop posting inquring if a user is cheating in in fact low quality, and they will be removed.

We are **open to discussion** of cheating, we are not trying to control the flow of information with ongoing issues with the game as occurs on official sub-reddits. We just simply don't need 50 posts a day asking if someone who is clearly cheating, is indeed cheating, followed by nothing but "yes" replies.

Examples of **excellent** cheating discussion:

Hey everyone,

First of all, thanks for being part of the community-ran Warzone sub and sharing your content.

I recently fell into the TopMod position of this community after the previous team had some issues with Reddit, so I wanted to touch base. This sub seems to have been unmoderated for the past year (or more?) — we are going to do our best to fix that!

I understand that it’s very important to keep this community a place where we don’t fall to self-serving corporate interests or information control like what happens over at official COD / Activision sub. Positive and negative feedback will remain welcomed — but we need to insure that this is high quality content as well, or it be
