I assume this has been discussed at lenght but I wanted to be heard and also get the feeling of the community on the subject.

A bit of context I think it's accurate to say that I am invested into helldivers in general as an IP I played tones of the first one and have 700+ hours of HD2, from launch day till just after the squid mecha faction (forgot the faction name) update. I usually stopped playing here and there to play other games or when i was getting bored before coming back for a big update. However this time while I am away from the game they started this new strategy of MO participation locked rewards and I have mixed feelings about it.

On one hand I feel its a good idea because I

I work in games so I have a home PC and a work office PC both capable of running the game. Initially at launch my work pc which is on the lower end GPU wise was running it in Ultra while my home one was doing fine in Cinematic.

Before latest update I went down at home to ultra because it was strugling. With the recent patch I first tried it at home first on the weekend and noticed clear areas where the game strugled such as the greyman camp and other crowded places that it didnt struggle before. I was expecting to have the same problem at work but noticed that it didn't strugle.

So unless I am mistaken the game is struggling more and more on my home pc and its not a settings or hardware pr

It's awesome that we can now teleport from more states such as climbing, riding mounts, etc... and I understand that too make that work they changed the transition into teleportation where now the character zips out of the camera and then re enters it walking. However I miss the old transition, I really liked the feeling of seamlessness of my character staying on screen in and out of teleport.

If it's at all possible I would love it if we could choose to have that transition back when teleporting from a standing position like before.

I think it's great that they are doing all these QOL updates but I would prefer if some of these changes were options the same way they did the running co

I have upgraded all my weapons and two sets of armour to the last upgrade before the one where you have to use abyss artifacts. As the title says I feel frustrated to use abyss aryefact as it feels like a limited resource. So i'm wandering is there later a way to farm them or buy them infinitly that i am not aware of? or is there a way to get back the ones I used to upgrade?

For context story wise i just finished the mission where you take back the pailune capital with the ludvig boss fight.

I like that we are starting to get subfactions for illuminates but I felt so litle difference playing the mindless masses that I initially wasn't sure if it worked properly. However i hardly play squids so it would make sense that i didn't see any difference. To all SquidDivers out there does the mindless masses feel diffefent to you?

The tittle says it all. I'm not supprised no one voted to bombing Chort bay or Lesath before that we have no clear explanation of what it will exactly do. I assume that choosing to bomb with the DSS the liberated planers will result in the planet being immune to invasion for some time but it could also just be a lower enemy resistance on invasions or a in map reduced ennemy count. Maybe we could all take a better educated choice if we were explained clearly the consequences of our choices, without that explanation we will probably all choose the option that gives the most predictable effect.

Sorry if there has been multiple post like this one, I'm planning on playing the LE edition games but I'm distracted by some of the changes in art direction especially in ME1 for example Noveria's mako section with the ground texture and blizard effect. Equally distracting to me is the changes in lighting, sky boxes and textures on all 3 games.

I would greatly appreciate if anyone here that feels similarly has a list of mods they use to alleviate these issues.

I was planning on using the LEUITM (1 & 2) & Mello mods:

I have the game on PS5, I really would like to buy the PC version of the game but I don't want to go through getting all the ship upgrades, or buy all the warbonds again, I also won't have the preorder armours anymore. What is the latest thing AH said on the matter? I know it's probably way down on their priorities but it would be amazing if they could eventually do it.

I think the main reason I don't play illuminate much is because the city maps make my FPS drop so badly on PS5. I don't think it's the illuminate because if I fight them outside of cities it holds quite well. However when I even look at a city patch my FPS drops like crazy. Has AH acknowledge this or commented on it?

I initially thought that there wouldn't be much new considering that we recently got the illuminate update but then I remembered that the Devs said that the illuminate update was mostly done by another studio in collaboration. So first I'm hoping that maybe we will have the introduction of some major new system/feature or the overall of an existing one. In order of how badly I want them not how realistic it is to expect them:

  • weapon customisation (scopes, skins, attachments (grenade launcher, bayonet))
  • war map system overhaul
  • encyclopaedia with details on factions, enemy weak points, lore so far.
  • new objectives on maps it's becoming a bit stale
  • difficulty 11 but this connects to my

I came home last night after going out for drinks. I saw the announcement and instantly bought it on PS5. Now that I've sobered up, I wonder if I shouldn't have bought it on PC instead. What do you guys think of the PS5 version? I haven't seen any performance test but it doesn't seem to be hard locked on 60 fps and that smooth in terms of resolution and upscaling. Should I ask for refund and get it PC (I have a good rig)? I do prefer to play on PS5 but this game needs stable performance.
