I see a lot of posts asking where to get F1 data, so here is the full recipe I use to pull lap times, results, weather, race control messages, pit stops, and full car telemetry into CSVs. Everything below is free, needs no F1 TV account, and comes from the FastF1 Python library, which wraps F1's public live timing API.

pip install fastf1

Step 0: enable the cache (do this first, always)

import fastf1

fastf1.Cache.enable_cache("f1cache")

Without this, every run re-downloads everything and you will hit FastF1's rate limiter fast. With it, the first pull of a session is slow and every pull after that is instant. Fair warning: a full season with tel

I've been looking for a consistent spot to watch F1 races with a crowd and friends but they seem pretty sparse for a city that actually hosts a race. I know the gp club sometimes watches them @ COTA but those screens are awful.
