It seems a lot of you are posting about hearing from your long lost JW family members! There is an upcoming study addition watchtower (February 2026 study addition), to be studied April 6-12 "How to help our unbelieving relatives." This may be the reason! I did not link the article but you can go on JW dot org and look it up.

Just thought this was interesting. So many people on here are saying that their JW family are reaching out. This may be why! Very interesting!

We faded over 12 years ago. Life has been good. Freedom has been good.

We told our family only why we left. Yes, we told them EVERYTHING! LOL Refused to attend the Memorial or any other JW event. Some still talk to us but here is the big but. WE have to reach out. They never call or text but they will pick up the phone, when we call. We stay off of JW/WT topics and have tried to be as kind and loving as we can be. They are all older (70ish).

Does anyone else experience this? Don't get me wrong, we are glad that they still acknowledge us but this behavior is just weird.

Why doesn't Watchtower change their policy on CSA? Telling the Elders, "just call the authorities" and WT and the Elders not getting involved at all.

Just had a discussion with my spouse on this one and would love to hear opinions.

Opinions anyone? I find it interesting that they mentioned everyone except MS's and Elders. Are they just considered "publishers?"

Don't ya just hate when a JW reaches out to a former JW, acting as if they truly care about you. Then after several times, shares a link, sends a letter or invite to a WT event. I hate it when they do this! I hate being counted on their monthly time report.

Just curious, is this years annual meeting in person or via Zoom? There was a post yesterday, that a Bethel family member said there is Covid @ the headquarters.

Two deputies, serving a warrant in Georgia, were gunned down this evening. If I were still in, I would not be taking my children door to door. People are off the chain!

Very interesting. Young Georgie got a girl pregnant and the Bible Thumping Mom doesn't want anyone to know about it. The church and community will look down upon it. The secret gets out. The most interesting part (at the end of the show) is when the mom is setting up her home for a weekly bible study. No one is showing up. The gossip is out and no one shows up for the Bible study. I found the similarities to the WT/JW cult amazing. The judging and gossip. So interesting how religion is all the same. Hypocrisy doesn't just happen in WT. It happens in all religion.

So the recent Watchtower's instructions to call the "inactive" have begun! How disingenuous can you get! Hey, Watchtower and JW's, we know what you are doing! You are getting your time in and you wouldn't reach out to us if you weren't instructed by the mother ship!

Heads up everyone! The manipulation is starting! The end is nigh!
