On the most recent episode of bigsofttitty.png, Tom introduced a new segment called "I crave release" that involved reading press releases. One of them was from Burger King, talking about some twelve day advent calendar of burgers they're introducing.
Is it the destiny of all podcasts to converge on reading fast food press releases?
Question in title. I'm a late adopter listening to a bunch of other podcasts, so I'm still in campaign one and otherwise have only listened to Hot Boy Summer and Skaldova. Do you all think I need to know the Trinyvale characters to enjoy this new arc?
I'm aware from the Skaldova wrap-up that they're de-leveled, and I know from running the campaign that Curse of Strahd is cut off from the rest of the world. I guess I'm more asking regarding characterization or the possibility for in-jokes.
Unfortunately, the current season of TAZ is abysmal, so I must express my disapproval and deduct $5 from my Maxfundrive pledge

“...that they call ‘demons’, but which we in the Beltway know as Despots.
“Thus, all the denizens of the Sea-Board attest to the existence of entities who pose spiritual threats to the People and who threaten to alienate them from the blessings of this Land, which the Founders have established for us. How could they not, when the influence of these foul beings is clearly seen in the seditious and criminal actions of the poor souls under their thrall, such as the Brethren of Davy Jones, the Goths of the Great North Wood, or the Snakemen of the Hollers? No, that truth we understand all too well, but merely differ in our explanations as to their nature. And similarly all admit to the possibili
As a human, any animal poses a mortal danger to me, from aardvark and bobcat to yellowtail or zebra.
There's a goldfinch singing outside my window. I am shitting myself in terror.
As we all know, the dynamics of any actual play TTRPG podcast can be understood by categorizing the cast members according to which cast members of a different TTRPG actual play podcast they most resemble. It's like Buzzfeed. This premise makes sense.
Clint - clearly Chris Hastings. Strongest creative pedigree, most austere and venerable energy. Yes, I'm aware of the irony.
Justin - Ali Fischer and Joe Lepore. Most stoner-like, coolest, has a focus on zany characters.
Griffin - Carly Monardo and Branson Reese. Youngest, pop-culture/internet knowledge, acts combative for humor purposes, DM experience. The vibes just match, tbh.
Travis - Tim
It matches the quality of her commentary. Bottom text
Sup gamers. Whenever people on this sub discuss their feelings about Ethersea in general, I often see the opinion that "the natural 1" wrecked the momentum and plotting of the game. This opinion is often phrased in a very deterministic manner; eg. "things were going fine until Clint rolled that natural 1... (but he did, and then things had to turn out the way they did)". This is not true, because it applies an overly-mechanistic understanding to the game that does not acknowledge the ways in which players, including the DM, have agency outside of dice rolls.
My TTRPG background: I started playing DnD 5e in around 2016 and have played it on and off since then. I started initially as a play
This will allow you to launch the game directly instead of interacting with EA's broken launcher. If you don't have a shortcut to the Sims 4 application already, you can find it in your Sims 4 game directory.
For x64 systems, you can find it in ".../The Sims 4/Game/Bin/TS4_x64.exe", and x32 users will find it in ".../The Sims 4/Game/Bin_LE/TS4.exe."
Don't let the man keep you down.
