We currently have 42 Teams in the OWCS. Over Twice that of OWL. But with a lower budget, and really bad promotion.

I think we need to split the OWCS into 2 categories.

Atlantic, and Pacific.

With China, Korea, Japan, and Pacific going to Pacific.

And NA, SA, and EMEA going to Atlantic.

But making the teams a more manageable 12 with centered cheap Lan locations to operate out of instead of relying on at home internet for more... controversial pauses and comebacks. (TM and Gen G are recent-ish examples)

Ultimately 24 teams total, with 12 per region.

Faceit existing in the west, and Nexons (likely eventual) takeover of the east would result in an existent T2 scene other than conten

Right Now, Team Liquids biggest weakness is its coach.

Plus if the Rumours are correct about Ryan and Infekted going to DSG, I can see them overtaking SSG and Lunex.

While NTMR is not a team to be ignored.

I wouldnt be surprised if SSG, now down a real flex support, is going to go down the same route that Liquid did in stage 1.

My ultimate Predictions are going to be Dallas and Liquid going to worlds.

SSG and Lunex in the bottom 2

With DSG and NTMR making playoffs, but not making worlds.

Soooooo, Skytorr and Ryan are not a part of any faceit teams...

Other Tournaments :flair-othertournaments:

What do you think this means? I'm hoping that they're getting picked up by Teams.

For Ryan, I'm confident he's on DSG.

But Skytorr I'm not sure.

He's good for Faceit, but risky for OWCS.

I doubt he's a third Tank for Peps or 1234.

At best, I can see him replacing Vestola on the former Al Qad core while Vestola goes to another Org for better pay.

I'm extremely bad at Twitter so I can't even see his Timeline in chronological order. So idk if he's been dropped or if he's retiring.

But if he hasnt said anything idk.

What do guys think?

I have mixed feelings on it. As I do believe it was a tad unnecessary, but having grown up in a sports centered family, I understand that the female form and charisma is highly popular in getting men to spend money. Its good business.

So morally, I dont like it, but logically I support it, which gives me mixed feelings.

I said what I said. Saudi Arabia looked terrible out there and only grabbed one map while France not only had to get reverse swept, but only one of Frances Losses looked bad. The others were still highly respectable.

France Played so well. And it gives me hope that Peps will destroy EMEA in stage 3. Considering they are using a better DPS line than they had in the World Cup.

Now, I know a lot of people hate the character and the playstyles involving her. But I genuinely think JPC has saved OW, not just because of her meme worthy concept, cute design, and unique kit. But also because she dethroned LUCIO!

I know Lucio is a popular character. But he was almost a constant meta pick at high levels for so long it was boring and insulting. Now JPC has not only cracked that open. But given opportunities to use other Main Supports.

With her hyper mobility, she makes flanking easier

She makes slow characters have much more viability.

Although, if you've watched the World Cup, you'd understand why I think that Sky Noon should be nerfed.

But for changes.

Now, I know we're only in Mega formats right now. But once we get Dynamax eventually, how would you want to see it nerfed so it doesn't take over the game?

Mega and Z moves both require an Item Slot for more power.

Terastalization removes your active type, making you vulnerable to that types weaknesses. Even if you were immune before

But Dynamax takes nothing.

My hope?

Dynamax Replaces Your ABILITY.

Too many of the dominant formats in Sw/Sh was ability based.

If their abilities are disabled, then the absurd amount of effects and applications that Dynamax has still applies, but has less offensive output.

No Grim Neigh boost

No Solar Power

No Steam Engine

No abilities at al

I've seen a lot of rumors on both but I'm not sure which is the bigger probability. Smurf might be a higher ceiling, but its likely that if he has a good return season, that he'll get a better offer in Korea.

But Infetked is a top NA tank, that's being benched over for Attack. He definitely seems to have a worse peak, but he's more likely to stay loyal to DSG (or NRG if the merger happens) and can have a good team built around him without using an Import Slot.

What do you guys think? I think Infekted is more likely even though I do want Smurf back.
