So for all of you who are discouraged as I was...

After umpteen hunnit LinkedIn/Glassdoor/Indeed/Ziprecruiter/Company Site applications that led to either Ghostville, contacts sheepishly saying, "I'll keep my eyes open", or the common rejection letter, I went from discouraged to despair.

But I have to say I got lucky. I went from despair to anger.

I said "F**k it!!! I'm going to reach out to the owners/CEOs/positional leaders of these companies directly!!"

I used demo accounts on Apollo, Lusha, and any salesperson lead-gen tool with a trial and got phone numbers and email addresses. I reached out to them directly via phone, SMS, LinkedIn message, or email and gave quick curated pit

BPD-m mother (gets triggered over something very innocuous that a pre-teen child does (didn't wave back when no one saw her initial wave--not even me). She goes on a 5-day reign of terror. Screaming, smashing things, using intimidating language, leaving threatening notes around the house, writing unhinged things on her mirror in lipstick, and outwardly threatening to lie to the police to remove us from the family home.

After I file a TPO (she brandished a large knife), and the cops come? She even tried to lie in front of the police until I produced video. All the sudden she's normal, apologetic, etc.. I've spent years trying to get the other siblings to understand that she isn't "evil",

There is an article in the WSJ about Kentucky divorce rates plummeting since they adopted default shared custody.

Once divorce stops being an annuity? This is the normal reaction.

Contact your governor and representatives and ask if they believe that children deserve equal access to both of their loving parents and what they will do to support families and 50-50 shared parenting.

My client has a new partner in Moscow (Shchukino) and was looking to purchase a flat. She liked the location of Khimki (on the map). However, 4-5 years ago, I heard the commute from Khimiki past the MKAD was hideously bad.

I prayed to God the last time she drove me around, so perhaps being close (enough) to the metro would be advantageous. She's also a runner and loves parks. She has a teenage girl who will stay in Canada but may visit for summers/breaks. We met at a museum event, so I'm assuming she likes culture, museums, and art. Assume somewhere between ₽ 20-25M budget.

If somewhere like Shchukino was the endpoint, which might be better to live for an older single professional? The

Every few years, I seriously reevaluate my personal tech stack. I came from consulting, so I'm used to apps like Smartsheet, for example. However, their licensing model for individuals has changed for the worse, so I figure it's time to look at everything.

Here are my essentials so far. I'd love a critique on what I'm missing and what you find invaluable in your stack.

- O365 — Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint, blah, blah, blah... I do not care for Google and have drunk the Redmond Kool-Aid for years.

Smartsheet — I use this for many projects, but again, their pricing model drops essential features from the cheapo version. As I'm no longer consulting and back in sales, this may go the

Hello! I purchased these boots from NikeTown somewhere around 2001-2003. I put them in storage (as I was on temporary assignment in the southern USA and would die with the faux fur lining).

The temporary assignment became permanent and I wore them a few times a year when the temperatures dropped below 30F. With the warming trends, I never wore them more than once a year (if any) and thought about selling them until I did some light research (and noticed that I've never seen them anywhere).

I would like to keep them, as they're in good for their age. However, I would like to identify them and no longer have the original box. I've searched everwhere (including calling the Nike hotline

I've found myself with a terrible great problem...

Interviewed for a sales job that pays handsomely. They expressed interest and want a 3rd interview.

The problem? Single dad with an ex that would exploit any and every weakness or situation. My family is far away, so no support system in that regard. I am a week on and week off, so I could mostly travel on the off weeks. But we all know those "Need you there tomorrow" situations are common to close deals. Also, I do have a dog and hate to board it (along with the exorbitant costs).

My thoughts were a nanny or au pair, but I have NO experience with either.

Any suggestions? Have any of you found a way?

Any Single Parents Who Travel?

Sales Topic General Discussion

How do you pull it off without family nearby?

I had an interview for a dream job. Remote, but it's a startup that would require me to hit a rather large territory. I have 50-50 (week on and week off). The only good news is that the pay is robust enough to afford nanny/au-pair or whatever. But I have ZERO experience with either.

Has anyone managed to pull this off or know any tricks?

Howdy!

I’m an old data hoarder who has collected several TB of martial arts matches, interviews, story pieces, etc. Mostly boxing, sumo, college wrestling, kickboxing, judo, and fencing.

Well, my disorder is helping others, as I have a number of coaches and competitors requesting to view or grab content for research. For example, one might ask “what do you have for a shorter fighter against a tall, rangy kicker?”. I’ll search the notes and tags and put the files in a drive. When they come by the facility, they can view the files (or download if allowed). Up to 5 people may be accessing this at one time. Nothing public facing. All streamed directly from the existing QNAP NAS (2x @ 52 TB r
