A new job title for an old soul

"No more little Yama." — Big Hero 6 / Tibetan wisdom

If you know, you know. If you don't, watch the film. It's got a giant inflatable healthcare companion and a villain named after the Lord of Death. What more do you need?

I died in 2005. Got better. Been living with it ever since.

Turns out that in one lifetime you can visit all six realms without needing to believe in any of them. I have the receipts:

Hell realm. London financial IT. Fluorescent lights, toxic cultures, and the slow spiritual death of maintaining someone else's database while your soul quietly packs its bags.

Hungry ghost realm. Decades of dedicated practice. Constantly seekin

Morning regards, hope you slept well.

Just wanted to outline my strategy- continuing real time fomoyolo shit.

I'm all in on Gold, Silver, short USD paired long SEK. Also own Norweigian oil/gas giant.

Thesis: if the dollar instability and global tension continues, I continue to profit massively and will earn enough money to afford a solid gold coffin for me and my family in about 6 months time. If, by some strange incredible ridiculous happening, peace breaks out on Earth, I lose all of my money. I will own nothing, I will be happy.

I like those odds!

Enjoy your Sunday.

Anyone had any joy connecting to the car for fault diagnosis? It could save me a small fortune if possible. I need to diagnose a charging fault in the car.

Picked up some big bad Genexx 980 floor standing monsters for $20. I want to replace the midrange drivers but it's hard to find the specs on 90's kit. The diameter is about 10cm- I'm not fussy but obviously want something that improves the sound overall ofc.

Nice speakers though! Picked up a very nice little Cambridge audio A500 for $75 too- happy days!

Slammed it a bit too hard. Worked a treat but weeks later Chlorine is still way high. Added water, flushed out a bit but I wonder if there's any ways to do it without so much waste?

Sometimes stars align. I guess you can never really predict the future but it’s great when things click into place so obviously just when you hoped they would. It’s been a good while since I’ve made anything decent- there’s always been some kind of disaster that struck towards the end when finishing the shell.

So I’m so happy that after a technical/ procedural breakthrough this week, EASILY my best dorodango so far- just in time for my wife’s birthday. No cracked panels falling off, super spherical and all made from increasingly fine clay, filtered from local soils. Nothing from outside our garden- all home cooked.

The key this time has been a large dose of patience coupled with adapting m

Been a while since I took a test. Over the years I've moved from Campaigner to this Debater business. I'm pretty 50/50 on the fp and very strong on the EN.

That seems to ring true but how do I play to it? I've always been very N but only over the last 5 years of standing up in front of people every day have I become more E. I don't mind it and I've got itchy feet so what to do?

I guess pretty much everything is 50/50 but what does someone with strong N benefit from and what are some good moves to make?

Seeing as the weather has been so cold, I was washing all of the jackets in the machine last night, watching it spin, and had a bit of a brainwave.

I seem to spend so much of my time filtering the dirt that I dig and I wondered if there was a way to automate the process somewhat.

So here’s the prototype: I have taken a colander and two sieves of increasingly fine mesh, taped and tacked them over some big yoghurt pots with some holes drilled in the bottom, stacked them up and set them over an old desktop fan which adds a nice bit of vibration to the whole stack.

The idea is that the dirt drys out and gradually works it’s way through the sieves and drops through the holes in the bottom of t

Plenty of heroic failures from December- experimenting with acrylic paint in the mix (which didn't go too well) as well as some watercolours which I mixed in with the raw clay and dried out to make a nice, yellow powder.

The main problems came from creating the shell too thin and ruining the finish while polishing hard- which is a real pain because it's the final hurdle.

Never mind though, when I started again today, it occured to me that those old covid masks might actually serve some useful purpose after all. Not only can they prevent me from having a nose full of powdered dirt, they can be adapted to form a cradle for the drying dorodango.

Looking forward to see how the drying turns
