Sorry everyone, I thought the story posted with the photos. I don't Internet well ...

Last night I had to take back kittens from a foster for the first time due to the Foster's negligence, not a risky situation they needed help with.

I had to stop fostering myself (financial and time based reasons). But when I heard what was happening, I broke my rule. Replacing me was a vet tech and we thought our foster organization really lucked out! We were wrong. Thank goodness our lead said 'I have a bad feeling, we need to confiscate them'. One day later and one would be 💀

Three of the four will be okay with TLC. But the fourth one had to be hospitalized today! We didn't think he was going to make

We're only keeping the bottle baby until s/he is stable. And when they are ready to leave, our last fosters will be in PetSmart cubbies for adoption, so I think overall it's not breaking the rule tooooooo much... Right?

Just got them. Eyes crusted, sneezes, fleas. Just a typical emergency foster rescue of a bottle baby.

Here's to waking up every 2 hours tonight!

Soooo tiny!

Extra Extra Smol

A few days ago, I became an emergency foster for 6 week old kittens. Yesterday, we added 3 week old kittens to that group (there was no other choice that meant they'd get a chance to live). How are they soooo tiny?!‽ My heart!

I'm glad they have the older kittens though, so it's less traumatic on them.

P.S. We settled on the names for the older kittens: Jessie and James (Team Rocket). The mini kittens will be named after Team Rocket's Pokemon depending on their personalities.
