I was diagnosed with Metastatic clear cell renal cell carcinoma with sarcomatoid features WHO grade 3. It had spread to my lungs before we caught it. The mass is about the size of a baseball in my left kidney.

I'm being treated at Fred Hutch Cancer Center in Seattle by Dr. Tachiki and have only positive things to say about them at this point. I feel like I am in the right hands.

No major reactions yet other than being tired all the time and some aches and pains in my left side especially when I sleep on my left side.

So far, I have been able to work normally. Yesterday the fatigue really hit me, and I skipped work and just slept all day.

Anyone in a similar boat a little further down the

I had a Biopsy on Thursday the 27th. Going a bit insane waiting.

I have had a couple rounds if bladder cancer back in 2014/2018 that were fairly low grade. Simple surgery to remove the tumors from the surface of the inside if my bladder and several years of checking via scope.

A couple months ago, I had blood in my urine. I figured it was round 3. But the amount of blood was different. Previously, it was just some streaks from the last few drops. This time it looks like I was urinating fruit punch.

Called my urologist and got the run around about needing a reference from my PCP. It took a few weeks to get that all aligned and had the visit where they sent me for a CT scan.

The results hi

I've been working on a Claude Code plugin that solves a problem that's been driving me crazy: sub-agents claiming they're finished when tests don't pass or code isn't committed.

The Problem

When you spawn sub-agents for complex tasks, they sometimes cut corners. "Done!" they say, while tests are failing and changes are uncommitted. You don't find out until later when everything breaks.

The Solution

Planning System uses mechanical enforcement - hooks that intercept completion events and run actual verification:

  • Does bun test pass?
  • Does bun run build succeed?
  • Is git status --porcelain empty?
  • Does the commit contain the feature ID?

If any check fails, the sub-ag

Claudes default estimation is crazy bad. I will create a plan that Claude estimates at 3-4 months. I typically have it done by the end of the day. Anyone have tips or working on a system to get more reliable accurate estimates?

I just released a Claude Code skill that solves a painful problem for SpecKit users: losing customizations when updating templates.

The Problem

If you use GitHub's SpecKit for specification-driven development, you know the pain:

  • Templates get outdated quickly
  • Updating with specify init --force destroys all your customizations
  • Manual merging is tedious and error-prone
  • No way to track what changed or rollback mistakes

The Solution: SpecKit Safe Update Skill

I built a Claude Code skill that makes SpecKit updates safe and painless:

✅ Preserves customizations - Automatically detects which files you've modified✅ Intelligent conflict resolution - Opens VSCode 3-way m
