Every day, I see 3 or 4 cars get through a green light because the person at the front seems to think it is fine to take 2 blocks to reach the speed limit of 50km. When I see a light turn green a block or so ahead of me and there are only 2 or 3 cars waiting for it, I do not expect to have to slow down to a complete stop before the cars get moving. When I am sitting in Circle Dr traffic at 5:00, I also hate seeing people leave 4 car lengths to the car in front of them at red lights, half the traffic still waiting back on the north bridge could be halfway home if people were not taking so goddamned long to do what we all should have learned in drivers ed many years ago.

It might be the one group that nobody else cares what happens to them. They freely admit they are not part of normal society and are really only known for the problems they cause. Ship em all off to a 3rd world country and let them try and start their own governmentless society.
I have been out twice with my new X4 snowmobiling and both times the buttons are frozen stiff and I have not gotten any footage when I thought I hit record firmly enough. I am thinking of getting the remote, but it feels like a $200 fix to simple problem. Anyone else have experience with this problem?
Is there any way to put the new lock and ride flex mounts on a pelican case or other type of storage box? I can find the pegs to mount to the tunnel, or the front bar that the 2 feet on their new bags lock under, but nothing that looks like a mount that can be put on a third party storage box. I would like to put a med size pelican on the back to be shock and waterproof for a drone and camera equipment. Anything third party out there that I just cannot find?
I have always found reddit to be the best place to get answers, so here goes. I just got a BTF LED strip with the IC chip, and a small bluetooth controller. the lights look awesome for what I need, bright, solid colors, very dynamic. I am looking for a controller to work with my application, one that has solid buttons to turn on and off, and preferably something that I can create a couple different effects and then start that lighting effect with a button press. Taking out my phone to bluetooth it is not practical. I want to be able to underlight a quad or a snowmobile, but not need a phone to control the lights. If I could create 3 or 4 effects, and then have an instant access to each one t
I have a couple JBL Flip 6's and love them. The JBL app providing good stereo sounds great when camping or sitting my the fire, but I would like the ability to add some real solid low bass at times. Is there such a thing, or could a person mod another Flip6 circuitry into a smallish subwoofer with it's own battery. I am a long time audio tinkerer, and very capable with electronics, so I think if I put my head into it, I could gut a Flip 6 and build my own sub, but I am wondering if something already existed out there. If not, hey JBL, this would be a great add to your product line. I am picturing a 10" cube with a large capacity lithium battery in it and be able to pair it in the app as anot

7 seconds in, not enough there to Shazam, so I am wondering if it is an old hair metal band, or if this was just session band track for the TV show. Anyone recognize the guitar riff?
I have a high end Onkyo PR-SC5508 preamp, and it has the notorious DSP chip problem of no sound and it does not turn on any outputs when you turn it on. I have used a resolder station and floated the chip and it fired up and worked. The problem is that when I leave it on for a few hours (as one does with a home theater receiver) and then turn it off, it will not turn back on. If I take the top off and use the resolder heat gun on it, it will turn back on and run fine until it is turned off. I have tried placing an aluminum heatsink on it, and have placed a small PC fan on it as well. When I run it with the fan, it does not get hot on top, but still will not work until I hit it with the hot a
It's time to start a new build, and I have had liquid coolers in my last 3 PCs. I am wondering if it is time to go back to air cooling. I don't play a lot of games but I do on occasion. I also do some video editing and rendering, but mostly my pc is multitasking a bunch of downloads, youtubing, and light office apps. I also know that Noctua were highly reputable when I built my last one 3 years ago, but since prices on the liquid vs air are so much closer together now I am looking for any experienced users to let me know if I should stick with liquid coolers. TIA
I stupidly built the max number in every land, and now am not able to build a gem cutter workshop. Any way to tear one down, or can I get gem stones anywhere else?
With snowmobile season getting close, I have updated to a Gopro Hero 11 from my old Hero 7, and was considering buying the remote for it. One thing I have always disliked about my gopro remote is the buttons are not glove friendly at all. I am wondering if there is a third party remote, or if the gopro can be controlled with any other type of bluetooth device. I am electronic and computer literate, and would have no problem turning some other kind of device into a remote by removing the guts of an actual gopro remote and wiring up to some other kind of switches. Has anyone done any mods like this, or know of a third party control device? I am thinking something along the lines of a bluetooth
I am on my third hard wire kit with an Aukey dual camera in my vehicle using the OBD plug style connector. The trouble is that these power supplies keep wearing out very quickly. They work for a month or two and then the camera starts rebooting constantly when I am driving. I am wondering if these are just all made cheaply and if there are better quality ones out there. Also, no spec or mention, but should a dual camera need higher current provided than what these are designed for? I like the parking mode feature and am considering a lithium battery pack that would be charged when the vehicle is running, but am concerned about charging a lithium pack all the time, especially in the cold Cana
I bought a flip 6 about 2 months ago and I love it, but it seems to be having some problems already. It would not turn on so I thought maybe the battery was dead. Plugging it in turned on but would not connect and powered off as soon as I unplugged it. I tried leaving it plugged in overnight to fully charge the battery and then when it kept going the same thing I youtubed it and found out about holding the bluetooth and play buttons until it turned off. I also did a factory reset and repaired. I have found that it keeps doing it though, if I walk away from it for an hour it is powered off and unresponsive until I plug it in and clear the service mode, then it works for a little while. I upda
I have tried different Dinse ends, as well as UP-10, but these are a smooth walled tapered plug that are a larger diameter than UP-10. I measured them at about .45" diameter, but I can't find anything online about what they are. I got an old used Comet welder cheap and thought I would make some cables for it, but it is turning out to be more difficult that I expected.
It is the connector on the left of this pic, can anyone tell me what they are and where someone can find these ends now?
