I have been using Feliway to help smooth over adding a new kitten to the household, and I am a huge fan, but I HATE the diffuser. The light in it is SO BRIGHT that, even if I cover it with aluminum tape, it shines through the body of the diffuser and illuminates my bedroom wall all the way to the ceiling. I cannot stand it, and I don't know how anyone uses these in their bedroom. But it's where I really need it most. This is the room where the kitten likes to pounce on my senior cat and annoy him.

Do the diffusers for any other cat pheremone products also work for Feliway? I can't seem to find any such info. I imagine companies would not be forthcoming about this because they want you to us

Today I went to drop my CH kitten off for her spay at a low-cost clinic and the vet told me that there was a small chance that the anasthesia would make her ataxia worse PERMANENTLY. I have never heard of such a thing and it didn't make any sense to me, but I am such a worrywart I couldn't make myself follow though with the appointment.

I called her regular vet to get a second opinion, and they seemed unconcerned by this possibility (or at least unaware of the possibility), but I am thoroughly spooked now.

Is anybody familiar with this? Are there certain anasthesia protocols that are less likely to be cause for concern? I'm worried I made the wrong decision, because now it will b

I am looking for someone who is attending Tucson Comic Con, who would be willing to buy a piece of art there and ship it to me. My favorite artist, Chiara Bautista, ONLY sells her art once a year at this convention and does not sell it anywhere else. I have wanted to purchase her art for over a decade, but flying all the way out to the con just for that is not feasible for me. I am furious with myself, please spare me harsh words because I already feel like a huge idiot. I just picked up a med donation I needed TONIGHT and then accidentally left it in my car for an hour. Unmixed Gonal F in a vial and diluent in separate syringe. When I took the temp inside my car it was 93 degrees farenheit, but maybe it wasn't that hot the whole time because my car was cool from the A/C when I parked it? How much do you think it has degraded? My doctor said I could take Menopur instead of the Gonal F and I don't know which is better.

I do not recommend anyone ever work with Integrity Rx/VFP Pharmacy Group or Cloud Rx if they can help it. They have been a nightmare to work with.

Due to a snafu by one of these parties, I do not have enough Gonal F to get me through the weekend. Today, Sunday, I only have half a dose. Monday I will be completely out.

When I was first trying to fix this situation on Friday, I asked my doctor to send a new prescription to my pharmacy because they insisted they don't have refills on file. He insisted they do, and refused to send another prescription. Instead he told me to replace what I'm missing from my Gonal F dose (375) with an equal number of units of Menopur.

Has anyone done

My pharmacy has not been communicating with me, so my clinic was kind and generous enough to give me medications from their donation fridge so I wouldn't miss the start of my cycle. However, the omnitrope (unmixed) they gave me says "do not use after 06/25/2026", and I'm anxious and upset. How old is this stuff? How much is the efficacy reduced because it's this old? If it has lost potency from sitting around, I would have rather just kept taking my estradiol and waited one week so I could start stims with their next cohort with my own meds.

I found a wobbly kitten in the street two days ago. I'm on the wait-list to get her into a no-kill shelter that specializes in special needs cats, but I'm already attached to her and frantically trying to see if I could make accommodations in my home that would give her a good life. I've already named her 😭

What do you think of the idea of a custom ramp to help her go up and down the stairs? I would put carpeting or something else grippy on the surface of it (suggestions are welcome!) and then put walls on it to keep her from falling off of it. I'm just worried she could still fall forward.

Sadly my home is on the smaller side, and I don't think it would be a good life for her or for my ot
