This is a point that's faded in popularity, honestly, but nonetheless. It's entirely based on information Voldemort didn't have. Now, one can argue that sacrificial protection shouldn't be some unknown phenomenon, but the fact is, it isn't widely known, and Voldemort didn't know about it. So there's really no reason for him not to use the extremely effective insta-kill spell, except... metagaming?

For me, unless your story is highly recommended, your protagonist gets five chapters at most to start speaking with other intelligent beings, the System not included. I don't want to read hours and hours of meaningless fight scenes, staring at blue boxes, or worst of all, navel gazing. I promise you, your protagonist's inner world is not that interesting.
I'm hoping to play modpacks with just one other person, both light and heavy packs. Obviously, I don't want to overpay, but money isn't a huge issue either. Ease of use is what matters. What host would you guys recommend?
There's been a lot of talk here about the price of going to the theatre, and whether it's actually been going up compared to inflation. But frankly, all the anecdotes or economic data don't really matter. Either way, the value of moviegoing has been going down.
Let's completely ignore the rise of social media, gaming, or other entertainment options. Let's even ignore how much cheaper streaming is compared to movie tickets or DVDs - not because it doesn't contribute, but because it isn't necessary.
The home viewing experience is better than it's ever been. That's not really debatable, and it's not claiming that it's caught up to going to the theatre, but it's undeniable that theatres haven
Does anyone know if HR will send them out, or do we have to reach out for them?
Maybe some gimmick out there in some metagame?
I prefer not to use guides. Is it possible to play the game that way without it being unduly difficult?
Like the Adepts or Ambassadors.
We know that even at the start of Worm, things are breaking down globally. The US is better off than most, but cracks are showing even there. Cauldron believes the future is parahuman feudalism, and I'm inclined to agree.
I'm thinking of writing a fic set in the future, where instead of warlordism (in the US) setting a dangerous precedent like it did with the Undersiders, it's already well-trodden ground. The PRT is struggling in most cities, and the government is in retreat. I'm not really sure how long this process would take though, or how it might look like.
I've been thinking about writing a Sinnoh fic, but it's been well over a decade since I've played Gen 4. Really don't have the time to be playing a 40 hour game.
Surely not everyone who writes journeyfics is replaying the game at the same time. What sort of resources are people using? Bulbapedia is great, but doesn't seem to work super well here.
A friend found someone on Fetlife who was using one of my Instagram posts. It was a completely innocent photo, and they didn’t seem to impersonating me, just pretending to be a nebulous someone using my face. I got it taken down, and I'm content to leave it there, but I'm curious - I don’t know if they were trying to scam people, but assuming they weren’t, did they break any laws? What about civil stuff?
I'm in Ontario, Canada.
If someone downloads one of your photos off Facebook and uses it to pretend to be you on, say, Fetlife, are they breaking any laws? Could you sue them? Or is trying to get it taken down all you can do?
What if they only use your photo to pretend to be a nebulous "someone"?
