I am having a hard time comparing two Mono Black Burn lists, partly because the changes between them are so drastic. Wondering if anyone has some insight into these lists:

I guess the "top 8" list is playing more creatures, and using those creatures to fuel some of the card draw in Village Rites/Corrupted Conviction. I guess Sovereign's Bite isn't good enough so it got cut from that list? The P-Geddon list feels more all in, with le

If this has been covered before, please link me to that, sorry for the common question.

After playing paper Pauper for about a year, I want to get more games in than are available in person around me. I am looking for tips on how to get started with Magic Online, or if there is a better option I am open to that as well. My questions:

  • Should I buy the $4.99 upgrade kit? It seems necessary.
  • How else do you get cards? I know the upgrade adds trading but is there a place to buy cards? Rent them?
  • How do I get Play Points and Event Tickets?
  • Is there a better way to play Pauper online? I own about 8 decks in paper, so can do webcam as well.

Thanks for the help!

Pretty new to SteamOS, can I safely transfer a game folder to my Deck? What steps do I need to take to make sure Steam doesn't flag it? Or am I overthinking it? I always make a firewall rule on my pc to block any connections from the .exe, is that something I should do on the Steam Deck? It's for Dispatch if it matters.

I'm very excited to go to my first convention next week, and as a new player of Pauper I decided to join the Pauper FNM event. It seems fairly casual, and there aren't huge prizes. My question is:

Should I bring a meta deck to the event, like Affinity, or should I bring something that I find more fun, like Blade? I feel like Affinity can win more, but I am starting to think that I should just play the deck I enjoy the most, and I may still squeak out a win or two. Interested in your thoughts!

NOT Heroes of Might & Magic.

This is a very low fidelity real time strategy, similar to Diablo 2 level graphics. I purchased the CD at a dollar store, so im guessing it was not a major developer.

Standard base building like Warcraft or AoE. Different buildings gave different units. I remember there being units like red dragon, green dragon, mummy, wixards, or any other dantasy/horror character.

Im trying to think of any other details, I'll make an edit if i remember anything!

I feel that it is only right that I upload these for everyone to enjoy, even though they are a little personal. A couple years ago my then-girlfriend reached out to Ryan to see if he would record a Cameo style video for me for my birthday, as he is my favorite cast member. Every time I watch these videos they put a smile on my face, even though Ryan is clearly baked as hell and can't remember what to say. I have cats, not dogs.
