This is a pretty specific situation but wondering if anyone else has gone through anything similar and how you treated/manage it?
I had a total colectomy for Crohn’s almost 10 years ago now with j-pouch formation. 3 years ago I developed an anal fistula that was drained with setons. Ever since this I’ve had uncontrollable stool leakage. I don’t like to call it incontinence because it’s more of a slow, occasional trickle of stool throughout the day rather than uncontrollable bowel movements as a whole. I’ve tried many things— after having rectal EUS and anal-rectal monometry to assess the muscle strength, I had the setons removed and had a fistulotomy. Still stool leakage. I’ve had scopes
