The Bobby Gold Stories eBook on sale today for $2.99 on Kindle, iBooks & Kobo platforms. While I don't think Bourdain was a stron fiction writer, I do think that this is his best novel. It's a quick and enjoyable read.
There are a good number of Hallmark movies on sale for $4.99 and series like WCTH & The Way Home for $6.99/season as part of Amazon Early Prime Day Deals if anyone is interested.
So what were your thoughts on The Greek Aisle?
I believe this is Nikki’s fifth inheritance storyline for Hallmark (Christmas Land - 2015, Truly, Madly, Sweetly - 2018, Two Turtle Doves - 2019, and Sweet Autumn - 2020) and while the description didn’t inspire me before hand, I was looking forward to some beautiful shots of Corfu & Deloach. Frankly, I thought Hallmark delivered on all three. The fake dating/temporary marriage is an overused device in many rom-coms, but I found this one to be charming and filled with a good mix of comedic banter and growing tenderness between the leads. The bits with his ‘clingy girlfriend Cassandra,’ ‘bribing the Land Registrar,’ and others were all good fun.
While I am a Duke’s diehard, I am always open to trying other mayos to see if one can win me over. While I’ve only tried it two times since I bought it last week, I’m a bit confused. It starts off sweet but has a finish that hints at mustard. I do not like sweet mayos, but the faint mustard finish is nice. However, there is no mustard listed in the ingredients unless they have something hidden in the always ambiguous Natural Flavor. Or am I completely imagining the hint of mustard flavor because I enjoy some of Mike’s Amazing Mustards?
Any thoughts on Mike’s Mayo?
