This is a total long shot, but does anybody remember which photo blog posted this image? It would have been pre-2012. I've looked through the ones I can remember from back then and can't find it. We'd like to license it, but can't find the owner. It was someone who took pictures from their commute back and forth to Toronto. The photo doesn't have any original metadata. I don't think I can upload a photo, so there's a link to it below on Dropbox. Thanks!
What are the chances that this watch gets a rep?
We were visiting the area from LA (sorry we hate the current administration too!) and found these Maple Leaf shirts at the Costco in Kitchener. We got a couple and they're great! Can these be ordered online from the US? Any idea who makes the shirts or if other teams are available? There are no tags on the shirts to indicate who made them. It's a heavier weight cotton and the Leafs logo is patch embroidered on not a cheap iron-on. Thanks!
Are there any stores in Las Vegas that sell great reps? I'd like to see one in person before we potentially buy. I'm on the list with local ADs for a genuine but not expecting a call for an OP Tiffany dial for "5 years." I'd like that watch as a rep while I wait and perhaps a Patek Philippe Aquanaut as well. Thanks!
We'll be heading to Toronto for some concerts in Nov. We don't fly often, but we tend to fly Delta when we do. They've had the best schedules for Las Vegas to NYC in the past with non-stop flights and we liked Delta when we traveled with them.
I was looking at flights for the Nov trip to get an idea of prices. Delta's website shows a handful of non-stop flights, but in small print it says "Operated by WestJet." Is WestJet any good? The handful of reviews I've seen are not good.
We don't care about status. Who has the best first class from Vegas to Toronto?
We're heading to your great city in Nov for a couple of concerts (SLOAN!) from LA. Where are the record stores we need to visit? Primarily listen to rock, but collect from all genres. We'll be staying on Church near Bloor. We don't plan on renting a car relying on trains and walking instead. TIA!
Our 2020 4S is currently awaiting a battery replacement. The service department is advising we change three of the tires. Driving to LA about a month ago we had an issue with a bulge in the front right so that's already been swapped (tire warranty). The dealership didn't have a second front so we weren't able to replace both at the same time.
Local dealership is quoting around $3000 for the three tires ($1800), installation ($225), alignment ($700), plus tax. This seems high. I found the same Pirelli tires on Walmart for $500 less, installation would be $48. Price difference of $1390 vs $3000.
What is everyone doing for tire replacement? Neither local dealer will price match because the W
We are finally upgrading an original Genie box to something new since it constantly freezes up. Customer service said Genie 2 would allow for an external HD. Turns out that is not actually true. Our tech said he can get an HR44 with an eSATA port on the back. He does not have access to any old HS17s with the eSATA port.
Anyone out there use the HR44 and successfully attached an external drive? I know we'll lose all the recordings on there now when connect to a new box. I've read on multiple posts that the eSATA doesn't work anymore on boxes that have them. Looking for advise. Thanks!
Don't have a subscription and would love to see what they had to say. Thanks!
We're going to down Pasadena from Las Vegas this coming weekend to see Oasis. This will be the first road trip in our Taycan. Anything we need to know? 2020 4S with performance battery. 100% charge gets us about 265 miles around the city. Thanks!
I hoping this is the right forum to ask. I want to grab some sound bites from a few TV shows (Netflix, HBO, etc.) to use on a digital mixtape I'm doing. Is there an easy way to do this without holding the laptop (MacBook Pro M3) up to a speaker and hitting record in Audacity? There's always too much ambient noise that bleeds into those recordings. Ideally I'd like to hit play on the show on my laptop and have it record the audio directly. Thanks!
