As the debate in the scientific community continues, I am very concerned about my use of ACE Inhibitors (high blood pressure and heart failure), ARBs (heart failure) and the common surface receptors they share with COVID-19.

Do these "quick studies" differ due to different strains of the virus?

I am a NYHA Class 3 heart failure patient in Southern California. We have been watching my kidney function monthly. Do I risk going to a lab this month that has a typical 20 minute wait in a full waiting room?

Both coronary artery disease and heart failure patients are at increased risk of acute events or exacerbation; viral illness can potentially destabilize coronary plaques through several mechanisms including systemic inflammatory responses which have been recently documented with COVID19.

It had been a silent agreement for the last ten years. No Christmas. She so loved the holiday that she always took an extra job a crafts/hobby store, just to be around more people in joy.I ended the silence with my young adult kids this Thanksgiving. The agreement and silence has begun again  :(

You were on my mind this morning.
I was thinking of your arms around me
I dreamed of the smell of vanilla cookies
I was remembering our times together
I marveled at your smiling eyes
I wondered when we might be together.
I guess I'm just really missing you.
I woke up.

Have any of you put together a letter to be read at service or an ethical will?  Did you name names in the forgiveness or regrets sections?

2,610,452,973 -- That is two billion-six hundred and ten million, four hundred-fifty two thousand, nine hundred and seventy three cycles in 65 years.  Rather a remarkable number.  Few human made machines can boast of that count. Associated with love for thousands of years, about the size of your fist. It can make some into "heroes" or be broken by love.  It weighs less than 1 pound.  It may house the human "soul" or be very dark in some.  It can synchronize it's beat with a lover in 3 minutes and pound with pride in a uniform.  Only five percent of her work is returned for her functioning.  Squeeze a tennis ball tightly that’s how much work (about 2.5 watts) is required for a beating p

The day before Thanksgiving in `08 I was working from home for a fortune 100 company. They let me go on the phone.  My wife had scheduled an out patient surgery for the following Monday.  Four days after the surgery she was gone.

Dad was in his third year of Alzheimer's and mom had breast cancer but had not told me dad or me.  I called to tell her my wife passed and she told me she was dying.

So I tried to find work (2008 was a bad year for employment), keep both my college student kids fed and healthy, prevent foreclosure and commute from San Diego to Los Angeles 5 days a week and back to help with mom and dad.  I moved my kids to Las Vegas just before foreclosure on our

You see a man.

A beautiful man.

He has beautiful eyes.

He has a great sly smile.

He looks of innocence.

He says "I am not gay" as he extends his hand in greeting.

Instant distance.

His eyes begin looking flat.

His smile droops some.

Still a beautiful man.

Not innocent enough.

Damn.
